For a bar that bills itself as a hifi bar we expected to be able to enjoy music. Unfortunately that was not the case - instead of the music enhancing the experience it instead contributed to a deafening atmosphere. Reading reviews the owner keeps saying that they don't want to police their patrons but turning up the volume when it's loud just makes things worse. Even a few fewer tables, would make a big difference. Oh and the oil lamps can't be healthy.
Overall hard to recommend if you value your hearing .

One of my favorite places of all time. They couldn’t have a better vibe if they tried (both appearance and music choice). Their wine by the glass is always perfection, and I think about the olives and nuts dish weekly. Absolutely worth trying this place!

On the louder side though these bars are intended for enjoying the surround sound. Perfect for music lovers and those looking to unwind.

Be careful paying with cash. I put $30 down on a $22 tab and didn’t receive change. Staff seemed put out when I asked for my change wanting me to say exactly how much change I needed back. Put a bad taste in my mouth after a nice drink and music.

My husband and I love this place! The vibes are immaculate and the staff is friendly. We take friends here when we want somewhere chill and nice to go with delicious drinks and snacks. We also have dates here often. They have a really nice selection of wine and their seasonal cocktails are unique and elevated. They also have homemade jam that's delicious! Overall, 10/10 place!
This place was an awesome surprise. Funky vinyls playing and slammin drinks to be had! Tasty little bites if you feel the snacking coming on. Stop by here if you haven't!

ESP is a true escape on Santa Fe Drive, perfectly capturing the spirit of a Japanese listening bar. The second you walk in, the city noise vanishes. It’s an incredibly cozy space, wrapped in dark wood and lit by the warm, low glow of vintage audio equipment. The vibe feels less like a public bar and more like a private, impeccably curated living room. The low, comfortable seating encourages you to settle in, disconnect, and focus on what you're about to hear.

If you’re visiting or a local, you MUST visit this place. Vibes, food, and drinks are unbelievable. As a non drinker, there were plenty of options and we tried everything except the nonalcoholic beer. LOVE LOVE LOVE !!!!
