I’ve had consistently poor experiences with customer service at this bakery. Each time I call to place an order, I’m not greeted and often feel like my request is being dismissed. On the rare occasions I’ve been able to place an order, I’ve been met with attitude that makes me feel more like a burden than a valued customer.

Unfortunately, the in-person experience isn’t any better. When picking up a cake, I’m rarely acknowledged and often receive cold or dismissive treatment from the staff at the front. It’s disheartening to be made to feel unwelcome—especially when supporting a local business.

What makes this even more frustrating is that the cakes are quite pricey. For the cost, I expect not only a quality product (which they do deliver), but also a positive customer experience. It’s disappointing that such delicious cakes are paired with such poor service.

Called 30 mins prior to arriving to see if they had the cake I wanted. Was told they did. Drove 30 mins. When I got there I was told they didn't have it.

Cannot say enough good things about Eternal Flavors! I have extremely high standards for cakes, especially birthday cakes. When my custom cake baker closed her business last year, I was so sad and had to start a whole journey to find another high quality cake in Denver. I did TONS of research and came across the spring fling from Eternal Flavors - so glad I did! I was able to order only about a week ahead of my party, which was great. Pickup was smooth, the cake was perfect, even bigger and better than expected! Everyone at my party absolutely loved it too. So, so light and fluffy, the perfect sweetness and combination of creamy frosting and fresh fruit. I swear, I’m still dreaming of this cake! So much so that my boyfriend and I went back and tried 3 other flavors as slices recently - all three were also completely delicious! Such a treat. I think he’s going to get his birthday cake here as well :) The staff is also super nice and great to work with. Honestly, this place is over 30 minutes from my house, and I don’t even care, it’s that worth it. Highly recommend!

The cake was dry. The manager, Maria was not very accommodating. I was the only complaint so she would do nothing. Could have offered a slice of cake.

My partner and I have been to Eternal Flavors several times within the last few months. We keep coming back because everything we have tried has just been that good!! Lovely staff and amazing cakes. 10000/10.

Looked everywhere to try to get authentic Spring Fling cake for my best friend's birthday, came across several articles stating EF had it and I was pleasantly surprised to find it was the case. Spoke to a gal a couple times about getting one on short notice and she was helpful and obliging during these interactions - I did indeed manage to get the cake even despite having just called that same morning. The cake was lovely, presentation was just what you would expect and it was as true as the Market's

My only gripe was their "first come first serve" policy. I did not place an order prior to that day for the cake so I understand not being able to reserve me one of the extras they had without payment but when I confirmed they had extras I tried to pay over the phone or even pay online - at which point I was told I couldn't do either because it was "first come first serve". I asked a couple of times in disbelief because if you have extras and I'm trying to pay you whats the hold up? If I am attempting to pay you am I not the queue, why do I need to be physically present? I could even see if the concern is fraudulent transaction - just verify my ID and card when I pick up the cake.

She did not offer any alternative, did not seem the least bit interested in making the sale. I was at work till 5 and I had to ask the birthday girl's brother (who was watching her infant daughter) to go halfway across town to pick it up which I found to be ridiculous and unhelpful.

I will still give them 5 stars because the cake was 10/10 quality and it was the standout aspect of the evening but the customer service I found to be lacking and placed needless hurdles to getting the sale.

Gender Reveal was Ruined!!
I pre-ordered and paid for a gender reveal cake for my cousin to pick up (I'm out of town), they didn't allow me to make may changes just the color of the icing in the middle layer. I told them to make it really bright so there is no question about the gender and they can see it right way. Nothing was done! The writing on the top didn't look professional at all the reveal was completely ruined. I called today to get a partial refund because the cake was still made and tasted fine but only got $10 back and no apology for ruining her first gender reveal. I'm not one to leave bad reviews but not even an apology? Really?

My sister in law got a gender reveal cake for her cousin two weeks ago. She showed a picture she saved from Pinterest it was a basic all white cake she only asked for the icing to be pink because they can’t change the cake color. They charged her $100 dollars.
When the cake got picked up by her cousin they wanted to charge her again for cake.
When they finally got to do the gender reveal there was no color in the icing it was white so that was ruined. When my sister in law called to talk about this and asked for partial refund they only wanted to give back 10 dollars

My first time here. Large cakes $8 a slice. I was greeted. No regular black coffee ☕️, just espresso and lattes a big selection of tea. I purchased a chocolate eclair. Took a few bites, the pastry a little hard like it’s old and a sour taste in the cream or chocolate. The girl who handed it to me was friendly, smiled. Maybe other items are good, if fresh, but this was not.

Literally the best cake I've had in a very long time. And they sell by the giant slice which makes it even better!!!

Love this place. Best cakes in town. Very detailed and customer oriented. Spring fling cakes are on point. We use to get out cakes downtown off of Larimer, but since that location closed, this has been the best so far hands down!

I wish I knew what time they close. I've been there 4 times and it's always closed. Google says they close at 5pm but I still go before 5pm and it's closed.
