I’ve been coming here for almost 15 years. It was always my favorite Greek spot. Last 2 times have been noticeably terrible and then I see that today ownership changed…. Well, that explains it.
The last time I came the woman was cold and flat out rude. I literally chuckled to myself because it was so bad and I wondered why she was even in hospitality. The food was still good but the portion was smaller to where I noticed. But I get portion control, especially with the struggles of today’s restaurants.
Today, went in and stood at the counter for almost 5 minutes without being greeted. They didn’t look open too. Boxes and plastics wrap containers and stuff all over the place and on the counters. There was clearly someone in the back because I could see them in the mirror. And they saw me… because they poked their head around when my keys jingled but continued to work in the back and not come to the front. I finally just left.
I’m not going to go out of my way again.

Great falafel gyros. Actually some of the best gyros I’ve had in Denver. Salad topping is always very green and fresh. They have a spicy sauce my partner loves. Plus you can select what you’d like on your sandwich. Great place.

Hands down the Best Mediterranean food in a long time.
I've literally been going here for 20 years and tonight may be the last time. The portions get smaller every single time since the new owners took over. Ambiance is dingy and neglected. Art work has been removed from the walls, but the hooks are still there. They used to have the friendliest woman working there, who I always looked forward to seeing also gone. Two dolmas as a side. It used to be four, then three, now two. Is the rice that expensive? Skimpy salad now too. Is lettuce that expensive? And $6 for a side of fries?! Disappointing but hey, it was a decent four decades prior to that. I hope they don't mess up the selling of the hummus at other retailers!
Visiting from out of town and stopped by to try the falafel pita. It was incredible. Delicious. The ingredients were fresh and the staff was super friendly.
Delicious and friendly service! Move love love
Great food!
This is a great fast causal spot for good Mediterranean food. The prices are reasonable. The ambience needs some work- very cold atmosphere with no music or warmth.

I used to love Falafel King but the food quality (and safety) has plummeted under the new ownership. Twice now we’ve been served a side that tasted spoiled, like sour and almost bubbly. It’s inedible and they are going to make people sick. Everything else we’ve tried is just bland or sub par texture. Guess cava is the only option now!

Their falafel balls, in my opinion, are the very best out there! Lately we have taking ours to go, and taking it to the Congressional Taproom just two doors down, then we get best of both worlds...
Vegetarian options: All items minus the meat.
Parking: There is only one handicap parking space next to Swing Thai, where you need to park.
Wheelchair accessibility: No issues at all

Regarding Falafel King products, "supposedly" available in grocery stores in the Denver area...
Many Falafel King products, formerly available, have simply disappeared from Whole Foods. Whole Foods staff at the stores cannot tell me why. I reached out to Falafel King via "Contact Us" on their website, to ask what was going on... did they discontinue certain products, did Whole Foods stop carrying certain products, or what?
Falafel King IGNORED ME COMPLETELY. I continue to have no idea what is going on.
I am going to find another brand. I won't be buying Falafel King products in Denver any more.

Delicious food. But will not order again because the service was terrible. We recently settled in this area, we did not know the schedule of the establishment. When they came there, a cheerful sign was opened. We started to order, the woman was clearly not happy with it. We asked questions about the dishes, because it was the first time in this establishment, she sighed and rolled her eyes. In the end, she tasted everything in a bag, without even warning that the establishment was already closed and it was possible to order only with yourself. It was a terrible experience, unfortunately.

I LOVED this place, all 3 locations, yet this one let me buy extra tzatziki, & it’s THE BEST I’ve ever had! I would HIGHLY recommend their food, especially the falafel! ?
