We decided to come here for the Super Bowl and it was 100% on fire. Their food is amazing the service was great. We sat at the bar and the bartender Dan was super personable and kept the energy going even though the game was terrible. I highly reccomend this place!

My aunt has celiac and I’m always nervous finding safe restaurants for her. This place is above and beyond for gluten free folks, they were sooooo nice and good was amazing!!! I’d give them 50 stars if I could!!

I traveled from Dublin, Ireland to Denver for work, and as someone with celiac disease I always research carefully before eating out. Federal Bar & Grill kept coming up for their gluten free food, and they absolutely lived up to the hype. The restaurant is nestled in a relaxed neighborhood setting and has a great local vibe. What really sets it apart is that the owner and his wife are both celiac, so they truly understand how serious gluten safety is. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely kind about dietary needs. The food was outstanding. Everything tasted fresh, well prepared, and full of flavor, not like typical “safe” food. Best of all, I did not get sick at all, which says everything. As a bonus, they even had a gluten free American blonde beer on draft, which felt like a rare treat while traveling. If you are visiting Denver and need a place you can actually trust for gluten free dining, this spot is a must. Great food, great people, and real peace of mind. Highly recommended.

Been going to federal b&g for a couple years.
Staff: the owner is amazing and is definitely passionate about his establishment. He is always there and making sure you are taken care of. The bartenders and servers are always efficient and friendly
Food: food always comes out hot and is delicious. All of the burgers and appetizers on the menu are top notch. I recommend the federalé burger
Gluten free: best gluten free bar food in Denver. They cater well to celiac as they use a different frier and grill for GF foods. The owner and his children are all GF and they can pretty much make anything on the menu gluten free

We stopped in before a show at the Federal Theater and were not disappointed! The restaurant itself is nothing fancy, but the food is amazing. My husband loved his ring of fire burger, and I thoroughly enjoyed the salmon salad. The cocktails were good and reasonably priced. The staff was very attentive as well. If we are ever up this way again, we will definitely be back.

We've never been here.. but we won't be back.. sorry.

The food at this establishment was amazing, the experience started out great-our waitress was patient with our large party of 8. 7 of us were from out of town for a funeral and met up with a local friend for dinner.
When selecting drinks she offered samples of beer which was very nice. When asked if they had Michelob ultra she said yes but went to confirm with the bartender, who spoke loudly across the restaurant to us “all of our beers are written on the menu,” passively aggressively. For the remainder of the meal we felt as if we were an inconvenience to the waiting staff.
After we finished our food our group still had drinks unfinished so we stayed to finish them and continue visiting with our local friend. For the remainder of the time we were there we were consistently given dirty looks by the bartender who was obviously talking about our group to another patron.
This establishment was not busy at all there were maybe 4-5 other parties of 3-4. We were there from 5:15-7:30, noting the restaurant closed at 10. We felt very unwelcome by the staff which was unfortunate given the large amount of money our group spent and the quality of the food. Did we enjoy our time together, yes. Were we decompressing after a long emotional day, yes. Were we inappropriate or rude, no.
Were we an inconvenience to staff who wanted a slower evening… apparently.
