We had a wonderful meal with excellent service at Federal Bar and Grill today. Beer, potato skins, chicken bites, and burgers were all excellent. Especially appreciated the wide variety of burgers on the menu. Thank you!

If you are someone with celiac disease you know how hard it is to find delicious and safe restaurants to enjoy. Federal Bar & Grill is your place! The owner Chris explained all of the precautions they take to ensure a celiac safe dining experience and the food was SO GOOD. We got the fried artichokes and I got the honey mustard chicken sandwich and it was such a treat to be able to get delicious, gluten free bar food and know I wouldn’t get sick. They also have gluten free beers on tap and the service was excellent too. Can’t wait to go back!

Burgers and beers are so fresh and gucci. Beer comes out in a chilled glass, I love it.

The food is horrible. The prices in general are really high too. The area needs more options.

Went in for a burger a few weeks ago and it still stick in my head how bad it was. I swear it used to be at least decent.

This place came up for gluten free vegetarian option on ChatGPT. I had been trying to go for a couple weeks because the food menu looked like fairly well rounded American food. When I got there I was surprised as it’s kind of a divey sports bar. Sat down and this menu was so impressive. Fresh cut fries, all sauces made in house and even veggie patties made daily. It is not typical bar food that fast frozen and fried. It’s high quality made with care. I had a gluten free classic veggie patty (burger) with fries. I tried the jalapeño ranch. I haven’t stopped thinking about it for two days. I’d be a super regular if I lived closer. They make the fries I love not to thick not to thin and crispy. I can’t wait to try sweet potato fries next. Anyway thanks for creating a place where someone with a not so normal diet can enjoy a meal out.

Went in for a drinks and appetizers. Female bartender was very nice, but our servers didnt seemed like she wanted to be there, not friendly and bothered by our order. Nice place, not crowded, not sure if I will return.

Food had so much potential-- great flavors. But I'm guessing they precook the chicken and fish and zap them before serving. They were extremely dry and tough. The lady bartender/server looked miserable. She absolutely did not want to be there and she certainly wasn't interested in pleasantries.

Food was delicious, lots of GF choices. The owners have celiac so are very aware of protocols and follow them well. Service was great and lots of parking, which is hard to find in the middle of Denver. Gets crazy after a Broncos game, but that is expected with great food and close proximity to the stadium.

I would eat here at least once a month for the last 6 years and am very familiar with their burgers. A few months ago I opened my takeout when I got home and the burger patty was 2/3 of the normal size. I called the manager to let them know what was going on and immediately met with, “well our burger patties come premade from something something farm and they’re 4 ounces each so I’m pretty sure it’s 4 ounces.” to which I exclaimed, “I have a food scale and I’m weighing it right now and it is not 4 ounces“. To which your manager said, “well we have a scale you can use over here if you like.“ As if i was going to bring back my food to weigh it to then wait another half hour for a new burger? That was the last time I ordered from you guys and I’ve not been back since. I thought about not leaving this review but I just drove by there and was reminded that one of my favorite places treated me so awfully and there was not even a slight possibility that they were wrong or that the farm that they get their burgers from was wrong or anything other than your manager implying I was in the wrong/lying. I even kept the pictures from April here they are below

30$ plus a tip for 6 wings and 5 potato skins. Wings were little and soggy and the potato skins where also soggy. I will never eat there again.

The staff was very friendly and efficient, but the cajita taco stole the show - unique and wonderfully flavored.

Unfortunately, our experience here was quite disappointing. We waited over an hour for our food—including appetizers—with no proactive communication from our server during that time. When we finally tracked her down to ask about the delay, we were told the kitchen was “going down,” but that the food should be out soon(?).
After the food finally came and we finished eating , the server offered to make up for the long wait by buying us a round of drinks. We declined, as some in our party don’t drink and we had already stayed longer than planned. She then offered a round of shots instead, which felt a bit out of touch with the situation.
In the end, we were charged full price, and the way the situation was handled left us disappointed. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t return or recommend based on this visit.
