The tour of the Tower. Truly great. Be sure to go soon to see it while it is still original and a bit rough. Then go again after all the bells and whistles have been completed. It was soooo cool to see the view, hear the recording of the last transmission from the tower to the last flight to leave Stapleton airport. Learn about the history. A great experience!!!
This spot is super fun and a great place to grab a beer. It would be so easy for them to be more inclusive to vegetarians/vegans by just adding a veggie patty but for some reason they refuse to offer this despite offering gf buns.
FlyteCo’s food and beer are mid and the games on site are pricey but it’s still a fun place to hangout for a few hours and there is lots to do.
However- the Tower Tour with Sean is absolutely worth a drive over there even if you do nothing else. Sean is full of interesting facts and photos of the old airport and the walk up to the top was slow and easy. Once at the top he gave us plenty of time to soak in the views at sunset. Will definitely be back to do...
