Shady business practices.

We had a very strange experience. We made a reservation, and we were going to be late due to an accident (not involving us) that required EMS at the Cherry Creek Mall. We called and got VM, and left a message that we were going to be late. We then called again - they did not answer, and we did not leave a second message. Apparently restaurants and bars no longer answer their phones. I then sent a message through Open Table and also got no response. When we arrived, there was no host, and it appeared as though the sever and bartender were involved in a very animated conversation / argument behind the bar. Neither looked up or acknowledged us. Neither welcomed us or acknowledged our arrival. The place was about half full, so we decided to sit at the bar instead of a table. The bartender, a young man wearing a rugby shirt and faded jeans (looked like a college fraternity bro), was far more interested in polishing glasses than tending the bar. At one point another employee leaning against the end of the bar said "hey dude, I think they want to order." My wife ordered a dirty martini with extra olives. The martini was not "dirty," and the olives were in a shot glass because as the bartender said, they were out of "stabby thingys," which I took to mean bar picks. We intended to have a few cocktails and a couple of shared food items, but we were so ignored that we had one drink and left. I couldn't have been less impressed with this "high end cocktail bar." We were so excited to finally get a reservation, and are also very much looking forward to never going again. Buyer be ware...there is nothing to see here.

It's pretty inside. I felt the music was too loud. It is sort of hard to hear the person you are with in conversation. It is more expensive than other nice restaurants. They add 20 % on to your bill automatically. To help with staff salaries. You learn this when you make a reservation. This is beginning to be a trend in Denver. Most other restaurants only add 15 %. But this bar adds 20%. We had a small cheese board and the cheeses were good. They were fresh. The wine was more expensive by the glass than other nice restaurants. They do not offer several selections of wine or beer. One Chardonnay for example. One brand of beer. The menu is limited. They do have a few snacks and some more substantial items to select from. The service was good. Overall I felt it's a nice wine bar, but you will be paying more. I gave them 4 stars out of five.

Last night, a friend and I visited FMN, and what should have been a fun night out turned into one of the most disappointing service experiences I’ve ever had. We chose to sit at open seats at the bar, where our bartender, Erika, made it abundantly clear from the moment we arrived that our presence was an inconvenience to her.

We sat patiently waiting for her to take our order (around 20 minutes), but she refused to acknowledge us, rolling her eyes at us and repeatedly serving guests who arrived after us. The contrast in her demeanor was impossible to overlook, she was attentive and friendly only to male patrons, while treating us with open hostility. Even the folks sitting next to us noticed it.

The final insult came when the receipt arrived. Erika had added her name on the ticket as “The B,” which was not only unprofessional but insulting. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable in a bar, and certainly never due to an employee whose job is to provide hospitality.

I genuinely wish I could give FMN less than one star for allowing this kind of behavior behind their bar. As someone who lives and works in then neighborhood, I will never recommended this place to my neighbors or clients. There are too many great establishments in this city to waste your time or money here.

We had some great craft cocktails here. This place has a fun lively atmosphere with standing room only at the bar after 6.

Decent food and very vibey atmosphere. Waitress asked to pre charge my card for the table (not the reservation) which I have never heard of before.

I’ve been to this bar a few times, and honestly, it has never lived up to the hype. My last visit sealed the deal — I will not be returning. I ordered tequila shots, paid over $200 upfront, and was given water instead. When I confronted the bartender, they refused to show me the bottle, claiming they were out. After pressing for answers, the manager showed up, offered no solution, and instead had me escorted out.

Their excuse? That I “looked” like I should’ve been cut off. I explained that my eyes are red from a medical condition, not intoxication, and they laughed in my face. That level of disrespect is unacceptable.

To make matters worse, the overall environment isn’t welcoming. If you’re a woman or under 30, I’d strongly suggest avoiding this place—it’s packed with older men who give off uncomfortable vibes. Between the poor service, unprofessional staff, and questionable crowd, I won’t be returning.

The cocktails were great! The ambiance was overall lovely and as expected. The service was lacking. We had to seek out someone for a second drink and then we were never checked on again. My partner eventually had to go up to the bartender to close our bill as there was no waitstaff around. They automatically add a 20% service tip to all bills.

I’ll have to say I didn’t know much about this bar located in downtown Cherry Creek. We really enjoyed our time there. Brian the bartender was absolutely amazing. He appeared to know everybody. The crowd started off being a diverse group of ages but then by 11 PM, many many many 20-year-olds Invaded lol. Overall great bar. I highly recommend this place. Ask Brian for the pineapple martini you will not be disappointed.

Great service, over priced sub par cocktails, appetizers lack luster, poor quality salmon. Disappointed esp with all of the positive reviews.
