First visit but surely will not be my last! Seems like everyone here knows someone or is family! Super friendly atmosphere and outstanding service. Our bartender Rachel, was alone on duty on Christmas Eve until the troops rallied and other employees showed up on thi exceptionally busy holiday eve! We got the best ever chicken sandwich and salad was fresh and plentiful. Everyone was happy and enjoying a great time! Don't miss this hidden gem with great views and fantastic decorations!0

Don't order take out. WAY OVERCHARGED. Ordered 2 $11.99 burgerswith lettuce, tomato & onion. Added a slice of cheese ($1) to both. Surprise - was charged $13.99 for each burger, with a mystery charge of $5. 2 undercooked burgers with no lettuce, tomato or onion cost $33.

Went to pick up online order and was just ignored by everyone when I walked in. They would walk by and not even acknowledge me. After about 10 minutes, I finally had to ask a cook, who in turn got an attitude and couldn't even tell me how long it would be. Ended up cancelling the order.

The atmosphere and staff were kind but we had a horrible meal , My chicken tenders were different colors (happens when oil isn't cleaned)they had hair on it and even the ginger rale didn't taste like ginger rale I thought maybe it was just me till my fiance took another bite of his burger and spit it out bc it was sour and soggy we lost our appetite staff was great tho

The owner Kevin made me feel warm and welcomed as soon as I stepped foot in his restaurant. I was met with the hugest standard of hospitality and service. The poutine was out of this world. The beer was cold and my cup was never empty! Would highly recommend this establishment to anyone who enjoys good food, good people, and great atmosphere.

Great food— some of the best bar food I’ve had. The Poutine was excellent and the size was generous. We shared it amongst 3 people and there were still some left over. Potato curry soup of the day was ok, but the other people I was with highly enjoyed their pot roast was sandwiches. The vibes were good on a snowy night!

Sunday Night Bartender (11/3/24) she was unable to be hospitable at any point of the short 20 minute interaction.
She wanted us to have our meal and drink order done after dropping the menus less than 5 min prior.
She had maybe 1 other guest of the bar and probably 2 tables in the restaurant. No motivation to get anywhere anytime soon.
She properly put in our food order and made my drink as asked. That was not the issue.
She proceeded to start a conversation to someone who just walked in the room and sat at the bar, I assume a local and that shouldn’t be any different on how you approach new guests.
We received no conversation no connection just” what do you want” .
To see that she was able to be friendly and have any interaction with people is why we felt the need to post a review.
My order was a beer, a drink, and spinach dip. Total was 33 I left 40$ cash.
She was happily satisfied to see that cash so again. She knows how to show emotion but she doesn’t know how to be a true bartender and be inviting.
Something that a bartender from 2 days prior, (Rachel) showed us and she was swirling between about 6 tables, running orders and making drinks, still had time to be courteous with all that happening in the background. Even made us a custom drink based on our likes and dislikes in mixed drinks.
Terrible second trip and was really looking forward to having a great end to my vacation stay.
Incredibly dissatisfied and more importantly disappointed.

Outstanding service late evening on 10/29 and it started before we even set foot in the restaurant. I called ahead to see how the access would be for our group of 8 which included a wheelchair. They told us what door we should come in without having to deal with steps and the wheelchair. Never did I ask to reserve a table during the call. When we got there, we were so impressed that they had a table all ready for us. They truly went above and beyond. The service was outstanding by the bartender who had taken over the entire restaurant for the remainder of the night. She was awesome!! (I can’t believe I didn’t get her name). She was so on it even with another big party who had come in. She was friendly, funny, efficient, and so genuine. The food was awesome (as usual) too. Best burgers!!! It was the perfect last evening with our visiting friends. Thank you! We look forward to coming back.
