Pretty underwhelming food for the price. Wouldn’t recommend.

Tacos and food here are good. Lots of great flavor to the meats for a good price. Burrito is pretty good too.

Took over an hour to get our 3 basic orders. Waiter said they were short staffed, so we did not hold it against him. Service was obviously slow while waiting for food. Food was super basic, bland and definitely not worth $15-$20 a plate. Atmosphere was decent. Maybe we caught Sonny’s on a bad night.

Sonny's Tacos is a great place for quick, fresh Mexican cuisine! My partner and I come here frequently for their nachos, burritos and shrimp tacos. Casey mans the bar and is extremely friendly, kind and has been with Sonny's since they opened back in 2021. If you're lucky you will catch the owner Ernesto! Ernesto has a background in fine dining. The simple yet high quality flavors at Sonny's are his creations and you will not be disappointed. As for the environment, it is a bar like feel with open seating and room for groups up to 10 people. Today (as most times we visit), were as followed for bites: Grilled Chicken Burrito Grilled Shrimp Tacos Side of Homemade Tortilla Chips Great location for meeting friends and family in the downtown Denver Metro Area!

Sonny’s is a lovely hidden gem in this neighborhood. Delicious food, well made drinks and wonderful service to top it off.The owner makes you feel at home and treats you like family, Joy at the bar makes sure your drink is never empty. The tacos, and food are local and well made, and thought out. We will continue to frequent this lovely place. Get the Hawaiian tacos and the wings- you won’t regret it.

The server and bartender were both really sweet people. Customer service wasn't a problem at all. And the food was definitely worth the price, if not more. It was super cheap to eat! And the atmosphere was so pleasant!Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options are like— California tasty! And well priced!

The hours are not accurate. Glad I walked two blocks for this. No wonder the business fail downtown.

Asada burrito had decent flavor but very little asada……got it smothered. All in $17.50 burrito that definitely was not worth it. The service was good. Atmosphere was decent different college games on every tv. Bartender interacted with everyone. The experience wasn’t bad just wasn’t expect info to pay$17.50 for what i received. More like $10.

I don't want to write a review because I want to keep this to myself. But I must. SO yummy. Fish tacos, Mile High burrito. Chips -- FRESH FROM THE FRYER -- and Queso. And amazing margs. Oh, and the service was delicious too!Our new go to spot before Rockies games.

Excellent tacos! Unlike typical fancy tacos that fall apart halfway through, these hold up to the last bite. I went for taco Tuesday happy hour, the $5 margs are perfect complement to a well priced $12 for 3 tacos.
