Food is delicious. Prices are reasonable. Staff is professional.I grew up in Boston and lived in New York for a while and I consider their Italian restaurants to be authentic Italian American food that is my basis for comparing everything to. This is the only place I’ve found so far in the Denver area that even comes close to authentic and is just as good as anything you would find in those places. As someone who loves Italian food and misses home, that is the highest compliment I can give. One thing I have to mention is the surcharge on the bill. A 2% fee that goes to the kitchen staff is added onto the bill. It’s only 2% and not a big deal at all, but I really HATE this trend. Just adjust your prices and pay your staff like every other business in the world. It’s clearly a political statement and your gruff with local politicians requiring you to pay your employees a living wage doesn’t need to be shoved down the throats of your customers just trying to enjoy a meal. Complaining about having to pay your employees on your menu, especially when you just bought the building for $2.6million, is sleazy and in poor taste. You can afford to pay your staff 2% more. Get over it.

The restaurant has been there 70 years and they know what they're doing. The food was DE-LI-CIOUS! The service was very friendly and inviting. 4 stars for atmosphere only because it's loud. The place was packed mid-week which is a GREAT sign. Highly recommend!

My favorite Italian restaurant in Denver. As a NY'er in Colorado it takes me home to NYC and the amazing Italian dishes that I thought I had left behind.Thank you Gatano's for being the best of NYC to Denver

Have been going to Gaetanos for the past three years. Love the food, place can get hot sometimes since they don’t turn on AC or have fans. Atmosphere is amazing. Service is ok (nothing to rave about). Recently went and they’ve upped the prices of their drinks and food significantly. Would say it’s $$$ pricy now. Unfortunate but I understand. Will be a once in a while type place.

Gaetano's never disappoints! The good, the drinks, the atmosphere, everything always exceeds our expectations! However I do have to commend the exceptional service we had last night from our server, John. He was helpful, friendly, attentive, and just excellent at his job!

What a fantastic restaurant. This was our first visit and we loved it and will definitely be back. We were seated promptly at our reservation time. The cocktail menu is creative. We tried several different cocktails and loved all of them. The cheesy garlic bread and Caesar salad were amazing. The pasta Bolognese, spaghetti and meatballs and veal parm were delicious. And the tiramisu was the best we had ever eaten. We highly recommend Gaetanos.

My brother and his wife were visiting from Ohio and we made the mistake of raving about this restaurant. I made reservations on Open Table for 6pm. They sat us on the “patio” at a table where I was continually bumped and the sun was unbearable. I asked a young woman to put down the sunshade to which she replied that she would do it right away. Of corse she ignored my polite request. The table was uneven and was constantly in motion. While the food was good, the ambiance was horrible. We will not return. We recommend any other restaurant you might be considering.

Reservation recommended. High volume of tables on weekends. Expect a wait even with a reservation, we waited about 15 minutes. But so worth it! Food was good and was a great place for a family celebration
