Super friendly hostesses and yummy food. I tried the "Dubliner" Irish breakfast with Rye toast. It was all cooked fresh and very tasty. I enjoyed chatting with the wonderful hostess behind the counter and felt really welcome in a cozy cafe environment. Will be back!

Decent cafe with a nice quiet environment. I wasn’t a big fan of my meal. The potatoes were very dry and I bit into, what I thought was, a crab shell in my crab and shrimp breakfast wrap. I still finished most of the meal but it could have been better.

Went for breakfast two days in a row while visiting for business. Shrimp and crab eggs Benedict, blueberry bread pudding French toast, ham and cheese quiche with salad and half biscuit and gravy. Try the Dakota bread, hearty multi grain bread.

I am rarely compelled to do reviews. I've lived in the neighborhood for years, and I have wanted to like this place so badly. Used to go more frequently, now I only go there occasionally as I continue to hope that they will try to improve themselves and since it is so close. The space and location are great, really cute and comfortable (though they are strict about allowing computers and meetings, doesn't bother me personally, but be warned). The food menu has always looked really wonderful, and I have had good meals in years past. The coffee is good, not great. The service is hit or miss depending on who serves you. But I went today and until it changes ownership or addresses several things and let's the 'hood know about it, I won't be going back and I will not recommend it to all the people who ask me where to go in the neighborhood. The food is and has always been expensive, however in the past it has been closer at least in value, pretty consistently going down over the past few years. Today I ordered an omelette and asked what they could substitute for the potatoes because I'm on a physician ordered low carb diet. I was sort of scoffed at and the guy said, "more fruit, I guess?" Not helpful. Then I left with my to-go order and I got home and found it was filled with potatoes, which I had declined! And to boot, The omelette seemed about 25% smaller than the last time I got one, and not fully cooked. Being on a high-protein low-carb diet it was all I was planning to eat, and it was disappointing. Good luck Gallop, I think you could be a neighborhood superstar and way more popular with a more customer-centric approach.

Super cute place and amazing eggs Benedict! They also have a lot of items to choose from, great mimosas, and GIANT bloody Marys

:( well. I was expecting something really good because the place and the atmosphere is so nice. The drinks look amazing. I think everyone enjoyed the drinks in this place however the food is very poor. They look delicious to the view but when you try it is a different story. I had the "giant" burrito and my wife had the "deluxe huevos" and non of them were good. Too much sauces and cheese and leaking on salt. I think this is a nice place for a drink rather than eating.

Soo good. I love the PBR biscuits & gravy perfectly done fluffy biscuits, and a great country sausage gravy, scrambled eggs and seasoned potatos. All in a very quaint little corner cafe.
