We booked Gateaux for our wedding cake and desert stand and not only was the desert incredible so was the staff. Michelle created a personalized tasting off all different pastries, tarts, and cake as we were unsure of what exactly we wanted during our tasting. However after meeting with her we not only knew what we wanted but we were sold. We had a wide selection of tartlets, cookies, cake, patisserie, and gluten free selections all of which were mouth watering. During the reception, my husband and I weren’t able to have many of the additional deserts other than the cake but our caterer packed it up for us and we were able to enjoy everything at our hotel afterward! We are SO glad we went with Michelle and the Gateaux, and the saying holds true a photo is worth a thousand words.

A friend suggested the Gateaux Bakery on Speer, (they also have a Petite bakery location in Aurora), and wow oh wow, what a gem of a bakery! I called my order in with no issues and picked it up on the scheduled day, easy peasy. Everyone in our birthday party along with the restaurant staff literally “ooh’ed & ahh’ed” over how beautiful the cake was! And, it was equally delicious! If you are looking for an amazing cake, or any other tasty bakery goodies, I would highly suggest Gateaux Bakery! Great quality and amazing customer service! Thanks for making a loved one’s birthday experience absolutely delicious! I will definitely be a returning customer.

I had the unfortunate experience of ordering my daughter's wedding cake from Gateaux. Had a birthday cake from here before and we worked with Michelle to do the wedding cake. Finally delivered 2 hours late to the venue with no communication at all and she did not answer when the planner and I were calling after the ceremony. Michelle was so rude when I finally talked to her 4 days later, no apology at all. Do NOT use this bakery for a wedding cake is not worth the time and aggravation. Very unprofessional!!

It's sad that we made a trip to the bakery on Saturday 4/19 to pre order a specially cakes for graduation on may 9th. Was told while the person behind us was ordering a cake for may 11 . That we could not place the order today because they had a big stack of paper in the back for that weekend. Very sad

Gateaux did our wedding this year and we were OBSESSED. Everything from the initial tasting, talking with Michelle about options for our cake and small bites, her being so very patient with me and my indecision about the cake flavors and small bites, and the final results for our wedding were so great. People still rave about our desserts, and we are so grateful to have worked with Michelle and Gateaux for our wedding. Gateaux is the best bakery - go ASAP!

We booked Gateaux to make and deliver the desserts for our wedding. Michelle organized an incredible tasting for us and helped us shape our vision for our dessert table. We had an amazing assortment of different pastries and a small custom-designed wedding cake. Our planner packed some away for us to eat, and we stayed up late eating them after our wedding! We’re so glad Gateaux is local, so we can have a taste of our wedding desserts anytime.
Stopped in recently to buy a box of 8 petit Fours as a gift. Great selection, beautiful presentation, and super delicious. Definitely recommend!!
