My (at the time) boyfriend was celebrating his 40th birthday with an about 35-40 people and I ordered a peanut butter and chocolate cake for him. It was hiking and fishing themed and he was SO happy!!! We’re now engaged and he asked for the same cake as our wedding cake. This bakery is so treasured in our relationship then and forever!

Not sure if they changed owners. But sorry Gateaux... maybe your run is done. It's been like ... 15 yrs.. I've been buying from you. I'm sad to say I bought 5 diff items all were store bought basic and maybe a 4 out of 10. Praying you get back your quality . God bless.

Our daughter was married on 2/29. We had a small celebration in a private room at Capital Grille. They recommended Gateaux on Speer. The cake was absolutely stunning. My daughter sat down and designed it with the owner, who understood her immediately. It was not your normal wedding cake, it had black fondant and gold and was striking. We had an almond cake, with raspberry, chocolate and vanilla filling, so each forkful had different, but complementary flavors as suggested by the owner.All in all, this was the best decision for our special day cake. It was delicious and beautiful. We were so confident after our meeting, we had absolutely no stress.We highly recommend Gateaux so any specialty cake you need.
We just had the best experience at Gateaux. The cupcakes we ordered and baby smash cake were absolutely gorgeous—some of the prettiest I’ve ever seen. Every bite was decadent, and our guests raved about them. I almost teared up when I opened my baby’s smash cake and saw the truly magical work that fit so beautifully with her wild things party. Highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: Loved that they made us a baby smash cake!

I ordered a carrot cake for two, To celebrate my boyfriend birthday. I asked for the smallest size of cake which is a smash cake. However was told it wouldn't be enough, so I went with the next size up out of fear. I got a cake for more than 8 people! 70$ for a cake with a Very Basic Dot Design. The Cake was Completely Tasteless! No flavor of Spices, didn't even get thru the thick wall of sugar frosting on the outside of the CARROT Cake. I would say 60% of the product was FROSTING!! it was INEDIBLE! I would RECOMMEND NO ONE WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GREE BAKERY!!! Clearly Money Hungry!! 30$ delivery fee for a 1.3 mile drive! DO NOT GO TO GATEAUX BAKERY!!!

Slow service, ordered ahead, got exactly what i asked them to not include. Asked for 20 gluten free small treats, a variety, they gave me two types, one with caffeine, which i specifically asked to leave out. $70 for this variety.
