Since I’ve moved here from Texas I’ve always loved that this is a black owned restaurant that delivers. The past 2 years I have seen the quality of the food decline. The wings are either too crispy and not enough sauce or the desserts are just disgusting. I literally used to buy 2 banana puddings. Service is always nice, quality of food is just not what it used to be.

They definitely gave me food from the previous day and it was reheated I got catfish and wings and I cook for a living so I will be the first to tell you I should have know something was wrong when my food was done in 10 mins I am sick as no other would definitely NEVER recommend stopping here HORRIBLE will NEVER return

Service was extremely good and everyone was very helpful and nice! Nothing we ordered disappointed and everything was really reasonably priced! BBQ was the best we’ve had in Colorado (as natives of KC). 10/10 and absolutely will be going again!!!

Self-proclaimed foodie from out of town. Ordered fish n chips, jerk chicken, red beans and rice, mac. Mac was creamy deliciousness. Jerk chicken is amazing and very spicy in a good way. Everything else also met expectations.

First time coming here and I was very impressed. I ordered 36 wings and got the honey hots, garlic hots, jerk, and honey BBQ. All were fantastic. The hot flavors weren't so hot that my face was sweating and that I felt like I had to get through them, just really good flavor and the perfect amount of heat. The honey hot, garlic hot, and jerk were the best of the four, I can't pick.... Maybe the honey hots were the best. Glad my friends told me to come here. Will definitely be back again. Also, they got the whole order done in like 15 minutes, though, it was like 220pm when I ordered, so not super busy, but I was still impressed with the speed.

I was very impressed with both the service level and food quality from Genna Rae's and would definitely recommend to others and order from them again.
I needed last minute catering for a lunch event and was able to put the [smaller] order in the day before. I ordered 48 chicken wings with the Jerk sauce, a half pan of collard greens, a half pan of mac 'n cheese and a half pan of the yams. It was all delicious and my staff really enjoyed the meal. I was especially impressed with the yams.
