The restaurant was empty, we went on the early side so that made a little sense. However, it took almost 7 minutes to be greeted at our table by our server. He wasn't able to speak to how any of the seasonal cocktails came (rocks or up). Ordered a drink that he said was on the rocks, ended up being straight up. There were staff just talking at the front door, yet no one came to check on us, get drink refills, or ask if we needed anything until we were about finished eating. Unfortunately, with the service this bad we won't be back.

Nice for this native Chicagoan to run across a Giordano's in Denver. The deep.dish was what I expected and tasted like home. I hope to try the tavern style pizza - the pizza Chicagoans eat every day - on my next visit.

I have been to the downtown Chicago location and it could have been that the plane ride from LAX to Chicago was lengthy and I was extremely hungry but the deep dish was next level! It felt as if it had taken its time to be great but here in Denver, it felt rushed and you can tell by the dough and the sauce/cheese combo. Was it still good? Yes, but not great. Would I come back? Good question.

My husband chose Giordano's for dinner because he loved the pizza from when he was in Chicago. We placed a to-go order since we had little kids that would not handle the wait of the pizza. I am not a fan of deep dish pizza and went with pasta. My Alfredo with grilled chicken and broccoli was very disappointing with little flavor and frozen grilled chicken strips. They called us and notified us that they ran out of tiramisu and asked if we wanted to substitute it. I asked to substitute for the cannoli dip which was what I originally wanted but was not available for online order. When our order arrived we actually received tiramisu but it was frozen. Our chocolate chip cookies were also frozen. It was just a really disappointing experience overall.

Giordanos it’s one of those touristy spots. You can’t go wrong with pizza. Any pizza spot you’re gonna have a week that’s very understandable. My only dilemma with the spot is they see so many people I feel like they forget about you once they sit you down because just to get you a drink or be acknowledged after being seated takes 15+ minutes. Again, it’s one of those places you go when you have nowhere else to go and you’re not in a rush. The pizza is good. There’s a lot of options.

Do not order pizza here. My veggie pizza did not come what was described in their menu. It did not come with mushrooms. They only deduct $2 from the total price. Service was slow. After you order, and pay , the girl said he will get a container to go for our drink Waited 5 min she did not come. I should have not tipped 20% regrets !

On a Saturday afternoon, we were told there was a 50-minute wait, even though there were clearly 8-10 tables (not seats TABLES) available. Additionally, we were told we couldn’t sit at a wide-open bar because the bartender was overwhelmed. Bad management through and through. Not even close to the one in Chicago.

Great deep dish pizza! If that's what you're after, you'll find it here. My only gripe is that the bar area (on my visit) was manned by one person. She struggled to keep up with drinks, orders, corrections to orders, etc. She was very nice and doing her best, but they really need two people at the bar.
