December 18/25 To the Kitchen: absolutely unbelievable! I’m a pork green chili connoisseur and this was the best I’ve ever had. Most people cheat at the end with a cornstarch slurry and it leaves an alkaline taste in your mouth with each bite. But this kitchen does it the right way. Thank you for that. Being the only restaurant in the hotel, the menus was somewhat limited. The wagyu burger was good but I ordered it medium and it was served rare. The braised beef rib was very good. Decent wine list. Service was great.
Thanksgiving dinner was very mediocre. Gravy so thick you could cut it with a knife and the stuffing was super dry. Turkey was nicely done and the pumpkin tart for dessert was good.
