Amazing. Better than places we went to in NYC and Washington DC area. This is authentic cooking that is relatable, flavorful, reasonably priced. Packed for lunch mid-week. Given the prices now of going out, ditch the hipster places and come here.

Crab cheese wontons are homemade, the best wonton soup I have ever had. Sesame chicken is the right amount of spice and 4/5.

This Chinese/Cantonese restaurant on Federal Blvd is truly a hidden gem. They offer a wide variety of flavorful dishes, each packed with authentic Cantonese taste. What really sets them apart, though, is the exceptional service — much warmer than most other Cantonese spots around. While many are flocking to that popular noodle soup restaurant in the same strip mall, I highly recommend giving this place a try instead. You won’t be disappointed!

I ordered salt pepper calamari (left) and black pepper steaks (right). Both were really good and reasonably priced for the portion. Tasted like home too. Definitely recommend!

I was craving Asian food and it was convenient but the price was too high for the size of the portions and the quality of the food was subpar, not terrible but it was definitely below middle of the road. I will probably give them one more try next time I am in that location taking care of other business. I might have just went there at the wrong time or day but they will get one more shot.

We are on the hunt for the best Wonton soup and theirs was quite tasty. The broth was flavorful and it has plenty of veggies. I wish there were more wontons in the soup though, my bowl had only two.

Every year, I pre-order Chinese food for Christmas dinner.
However, my favorite spot stopped taking preorders. I am a creature of habit, and the idea of change was a serious struggle.
After much research. I put a Christmas day pre-order in at Happy Cafe. But...
Just hours before Christmas dinner, we had more friends that wanted to join the Chinese food on X-mas tradition.

I called Happy Cafe. Without hesitation, they added more food to my original order.

I'm a very picky eater. But the chef listened to ALL my request.

Now, I wake up thinking about their (bean sprout free) fried rice, dream about the crab cheese wontons, and drool a bit each time their sesame chicken crosses my mind.

I am thankful they provide generous side sauce portions.

Pick up orders are quick. You're in and out.

They always had a handful of fortune cookies.

Rude people. Tried 2 times to eat but refused dining service both times. "Carry out only???" but seems shady overall.

WOW. This is the best Chinese food I've had in ages. SO good and much different from the other Chinese places around Denver. Good portion size, good value, amazing taste. Cannot recommend enough! Our group enjoyed the (woodear mushroom) fungus salad (numbing!), garlic shrimp, sesame tofu, clams with ginger and scallion, and noodles with soy sauce. Each was unique and delicious.
