Happy camper is always a go to when visiting Denver. The ambiance is fun and inviting fun for a date night or with a large group. Staff if friendly and knowledgeable. Our group all loved their food, especially one friend that has celiac - their hot honey pizza was the best gluten free pizza she's had. Other friends with dietary restrictions like vegetarian, dairy free also had plenty of options. All our food including salads, pizza, guac, elote dip, chicken & waffles, burrito and wings were delicious. We love getting the champagne/white claw flutes & all the drinks kept flowing. Can't wait to go back ?️??

I love this place! The atmosphere is fun with cool drinks, great music, and eclectic decor. I loved the benches made from old claw foot tubs! I had the canteen-a-rita, served in a camping canteen. It was delicious! I’d love to go back soon and try the food and more drinks soon!Updated:I have been to Happy Camper multiple times at different times of day since my initial review, and I’ve always had a great experience! The pizza is great, the drinks are consistent, and the staff is always on their game. I love to take out of town visitors here to enjoy the decor and the atmosphere!

We had a family brunch for my son's bday. The atmosphere was perfect, food was good, everyone had a great time. We had a reservation for 9 people, when we arrived we were quickly seated. They even gave a bday surprise in honor of my son's bday!

Had dinner reservations for 12 people at 7pm on Saturday night. Absolutely no parking other than some street parking or valet. Spent $25 on valet parking across the street. Waited until 7:50 to be seated with plenty of excuses for not being timely seated. Not the most kid friendly place at that time. Seemed to be mostly a college crowd/young 20s. Food was good and reasonably priced. Management paid for 3 appetizers for inconvenience. Food came out timely. Server was good and attentive. Not sure what it is like other than on a Saturday night.

Went to happy camper for the first time yesterday and it was so cute! The decor and vibe is so fun! The servers are so great but it is kind of loud otherwise, I highly recommend for an occasion or just to have fun with friends!

My experience was awesome and the atmosphere was fun and energetic! My only problem was the bathrooms because there weren't very many stalls, there was always a line, and the toilet paper ran out
Beware of inconsistent bartenders. Went there last weekend and ordered 4 rounds of drinks (same order) and prices were $27 $26 $19 $16. Bartenders will just charge you more to get higher tips. Will not be back due to shady business practices

Very cool atmosphere with areas laid out like the outdoors and camping sites. There are regular seating areas and a nice bar towards the back of the restaurant. Decent selection of beers, fun cocktails, and the pizza was great. Only issue was the server became less friendly and attentive when we slowed down the drinks and continued to watch the end of the basketball game. We probably stayed fifteen minutes passed finishing our drinks and paying the bill so it wasn't like we sat around and wasted her time and opportunity to make more tips. I will definitely go back again but the service at the end was a little off putting.

Idk that I would go back.Nothing about it seems very accessible or practical. It's college party vibes, there are some cool pieces of furniture and the actual space is really neat. So I feel like the potential is there.It just seems like there should be more attention on the actual products and service. We had a reservation for 6 people for a birthday party. Got there early. We ended up crammed into this tiny space of booths made out of old bath tubs, which were the only actual seats so- two people sat on the floor on a backless wood bench...we made a reservation and we are 6 adults.Didn't love the attitude of the host who said well this is the best we could do we have many large parties today, most larger than yours. Hmm. Maybe don't overbook the space with parties then. If you're under 8 people you aren't prioritized. You also have to pay the check on one tab and they don't tell you this until you try to leave!Just seemed severely understaffed with apathetic college girls. We kept getting up and getting our drinks from the bar because we saw our actual server maybe twice. So shout out to the bartnenders those ladies were killing it and it was clear.Idk. Just seems like there's so much attention to decor and vibes but zero effort to actually take care of your guests or make the experience even slightly worth the prices. If we do return, we will just sit at the bar! Highly recommend everyone else do the same.
