I know Heidi's overall gets great reviews, but this particular one downtown for lunch absolutely knocks it out of the park for service, selection, great food! As long as they have the lunch staff during the week, don't miss this one. Try to get in by 11am or after 1pm, otherwise there will be a line. But they move you through pronto. My favorites are BLT on French and Philly Cheesesteak on Italian. And don't miss the chili and whatever soup of the day.

I cannot comment on anything other than a plain bagel with cream cheese, but the bagel did not meet my expectations. Being named after a New York borough, I was expecting a bagel of that caliber. The bagel was very airy on the inside and crunchy on the outside (I was expecting a traditional dense and chewy bagel).Additionally the staff was preparing for some catered lunches and there was quite a bit of bickering between them during this activity, maybe that is the traditional Brooklyn style from the business's namesake.

Super good, quick, and fair prices. They make their own bread and it is soooo good. Their grilled cheese is to die for and really hits the spot if you are having "one of those days"

THICK bread slices - and it's baked fresh. I ordered the reuben with turkey meat, and it was very tasty. The potato salad is also really good. Will eat here again; do recommend. :-)

This is the quintessential lunch spot. The sandwiches are all very good; bread made fresh, reasonable prices, fast moving lunch. Heidi's is great!
Such a good bagel!! I got the jalapeño cheese with plain cream cheese. Perfect crisp from toaster but soft in middle. Workers were all kind and talkative. Totally recommend! No fresh iced coffee, but bottle/can options in fridge section

Heidi's is an amazing deli with an old school, urban vibe. I haven't been in years but started working in the area again and stopped by. My French dip sandwich and potato salad were delicious and under $12. They have a broad menu. The staff is friendly, clean & efficient. The line at 12:30 on a Wed was impressively out the door the entire time I was there and moved quickly. Certainly worth the brief wait.
