Nice meals!

A wonderful little spot to enjoy fresh and delicious Chinese food! I was warmly welcomed and quickly seated upon entering and the food took no more than 10 minutes to be served after ordering. The service was very pleasant and I greatly enjoyed my meal and time inside the restaurant.

Had pork lo mein, crab cheese wontons and wonton soup. Everything was excellent. Great portions and friendly service. Will definitely be back!

I have gotten take out a few times from here.
I never order late, but tonight was different. I placed an order for the latest time offered, 8:30Pm. I got a call at 5:37Pm, about 17 minutes after placing my order, because I had gotten the last 2 numbers switched on accident. I really appreciate the food and the service I usually get. I even said so in my note to the kitchen in my special instructions.
I will also include that picture in my review.
However, tonight I got 4 phone calls before 8:30Pm for my order.
I showed up at 8:32Pm.
Google says your takeout and delivery is available until 9:30Pm, but everywhere else it shows up on your site as closed at 8:30Pm.
That's where it was confusing to me, as I only saw that closing time of 9:30. I'll post a picture of the times listed on Google, and show where underneath that part where the times are different. I am sorry.
Again, this was my first time ordering with you this late.
I don't appreciate getting the 4 calls before 8:30. If I had known you close takeout when you literally shut your restaurant down, I would have done what I could to get there earlier. Restaurants generally close their takeout 30 mins before their restaurant closes. This caught me off guard. I am sorry I didn't see the closing part properly.
I have worked in restaurants all my life, across this country. This, was a first for me.

It may help to update the Google situation to be reflect all the proper times, if you could possibly help fix that miscommunication, it would have made the difference for me.
I literally live behind your restaurant in that complex, and was doing laundry down the street. We were there and gone from your restaurant before 8:34pm.
That situation didn't make me feel very good.
I did tell you, when you called about the card information at 5:37Pm, that I was ordering late due to emergency laundry I had to handle, and I definitely tried to make it worth your time with over a $7 tip.
Apparently that wasn't good enough. We are moving at the end of this month, anyways. I guess that's where I'll leave this.
Thanks anyways, for the good food. For a dollar shy of $70, that was a bit too much for tonight. I'm a human, too.

Kind of sad, everything was meh at best. Jalapeño wantons had a chewy texture like they were stale. Sweet and sour sauce felt like it was watered down. My Kung pow beef was inedible, had some kinda nasty metallic taste (I think from dirty oil, but can't be sure)

I have been to Hong Kong cafe for 3 years. Recently I saw a couple of really bad reviews. I talked to the owner and she is so surprised the bad reviews can be removed by paying google. I recommend go and try in person.

This place is absolute trash and they removed my original review. They should be working on making better food and not getting reviews deleted. They should also change their name since it's fraudulent. It used to be owned by different owners. The food is horrible and oily. There is no seasoning and flavor. The food is chewy and not in a good way. I don't recommend going here unless you want to be very disappointed and sick from the horrible food. I'll be checking back regularly on my review since they shouldn't be able to remove them. Just stop making horrible food.

I was in the hospital for Food poisoning from the jjamppong. Will not return now that i know they aren’t following sanitation laws. Also the service was rushed and awkward. This place is disgusting.

Hong Kong Cafe is paying Google to remove the negative reviews. So I'm going to have to rewrite this review.

The food here used to be sooo good. But it's gone downhill around later 2020 or 2021. I gave it so many chances thinking that maybe it was an off day. The quality of ingredients is trash now. It's like the changed their vendors to go with the cheapest grossest one.

Their food went from being a 10 to a 1 so quickly that I'm thinking that they changed ownership.

Here's the thing, don't trust the lack of low reviews on Google, because bad reviews can be removed for a fee. And apparently Hong Kong Cafe isn't above paying the fee to silent voices.

I'm not going back here again, not because of the lack of integrity, but because of the lack of quality ingredients that goes in the food.

I ordered Combination Udon Noodles and Hot and Sour Soup. The soup was lukewarm and not very tasty. The Combination Udon was supposed to have beef, chicken, and shrimp. It was missing the shrimp, not even one. Maybe I should have let Forrest Gump prepare it. This has happened before on different orders where some ingredient was missing. Next time I’ll be going to another Chinese restaurant even though it’s a little further away.

Tofu was not crispy and had a cornstarch taste to it. Service was great though and everyone else’s food looked decent.
