I ate recentl;y at Hop Alley with some HK, Taiwan and Singapore colleagues. The place has great service & vibe, but food was a letdown. If this was supposed to be a modern twist on classical Chinese dishes, it didn't work for us. La Zi Ji was tough and overspiced; Bear's Paw'sTofu was chewy; fried wontons didn't have a fresh-out-of-the fryer taste & their mayonnaise-like filling didn't resonate. The bone marrow in the fried rice didn't...

Very cool spot, fun atmosphere, great service, great cocktail and wine list. Service from Abby was top notch and she had some great recommendations for other fun spots for us to try on our visit to Denver. Really the only issue is that we could order everything on the menu! We will be back for sure.

Came in with a group of 12 on a Monday and it was fantastic! I have celiac and was able to choose a number of items off the menu - the Singapore noodles and charred broccoli were delicious. Our group left happy and FULL.
