I ran across this place on DoorDash and after reading the Google reviews and finding out this is a black owned business I decided to support. I have found the soul food spot in Denver!!! This is the place that takes you back to grandmas cooking. The smell makes your mouth water I ordered on DoorDash and my food came hot and fresh I had the rotel and chips…chicken and catfish green beans and spaghetti Oh My this food is good I live in Colorado Springs but I will be back to Denver every weekend to eat here

This was my first time ordering from here. I saw it on Door dash and was excited to try it. Overall, very satisfied. The Hot honey wings tasted great and were cooked perfectly. The Mac & Cheese and Mashed Potatoes w/ gravy were very tasty and had that home cooked taste.Only downside was paying an extra $3 for Corn Bread and received a very hard/burnt, inedible piece. I was really looking forward to that cornbread. I’ll try them another time and hope for the best.

The food alone is great. But this place is just a vibe. Everyone is friendly and fun. If you are a local in park hill this is totally the place to just hang out and have a beer

This is NOT a soul food restaurant. This is a pool hall with terrible food. I got fried shrimp and fried fish. The shrimp tasted like they haven’t changed the grease since they opened and the fish was nothing but overly fried batter. There was no actual fish inside. The employees have no sense of customer service and aren’t knowledgeable of anything food related there. NOT A RESTAURANT just a beat down pool hall. UPDATE: Please look to the unprofessional response to an honest review as further proof of the terrible customer service. Just to reinforce the lying, angry nature of this business, and apparently the owner specifically, I have added photos of the last 4 reviews I made prior to this one which were all 5 stars.

Came here last night and got the catfish dirty rice and yams. Honestly the best southern food I've had in Colorado hands down hefty servings and the customer service was great was able to call and order over the phone and wasn't too expensive
