I remember when this was 3 Kings and been going here since it changed to HQ. Nice little spot - great shows, great staff. It can get a bit warm as some of the other reviewers have stated, but thankfully you can step outside to cool off.

This venue has always been too hot but it wasn't a problem for me till they started trying to charge $4 for water with nowhere to access free water. Not offering tap water is water ridiculous and it's dangerous in a music venue that gets so warm.

I used to love this place, but apparently now they only charge for water (there is no free option). I won't be coming back until this policy is changed, because they used to have water available and the venue gets insanely hot when it's packed.

They dont provide free water, a human right if you ask me. They'll charge 4 bucks for a can OF WATER instead of filling up a cup with some ice. At least put a Gatorade jug out like any other respectable venue.
They also rarely have any bands worth seeing. Do better...
