ordered the 3 meat combo!! barely got any brisket, but it surely was good. At ALL COST DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OF THE BEEF RIB, it's literally a piece of fat on a large bone. The Mac and cheese and baked beans were good although it seemed warmed up from the microwave as it was obscenely hot. the fried chicken hen was delicious and I'd order the brisket again for sure!! Def worth the try, but there are better BBQ spots out there!

Visiting from Texas, we wanted to try a black owned BBQ while here. Greeted when walked in door, enjoyed the old school spiritual music, customer service was great and both young ladies very friendly. Everything was good and my hubby who is hard to please was really satisfied with the BBQ. And the beef tips was soooooo tender.

The ambience, wait staff and food in The Hungry Wolf is FANTASTIC in my opinion! It’s a very warm and friendly place. I can’t express how great the food is there. It’s very small — only 3 or 4 tables — but I’ve never had to wait to be seated. I will be dining there for lunch or dinner often, sometimes ordering take-out and eating it on my backyard patio.

Baked beans, pulled pork, and hot link were my favorite. Family business from Oklahoma, super sweet server and tasty food?

The ribs...I go for the ribs... the pork ribs are the best I've had since I moved from kc....I love beef ribs and theirs have great flavor, if only they had more meat than bone. The sides didn't blow me away, but one of these days I intend to go on a Saturday to try the Mac n cheese and the chicken with gravy. I've read some reviews from people complaining about how they thought they were treated... everyone working there was super nice and friendly to me, hell, even a couple of the diners said hello as I walked in. Maybe I'll try the brisket on my next visit!

I love the 70's music playing. Two booths and two tables. Little place. The waitress were very nice.
The food was slow to come out. My brother and sister in laws Uncle got their dinner at the save time the appetizer came out. Then my sister in-law got her catfish and shrimp. I got potato salad and we all got drinks.
The Cokes tasted more like a mix of Sprite and coke. My brother's ice -t tasted good he said. My sister-in-law said her fish and shrimp were dry and didn't taste good.
When I finally got my food, it was pretty good. I had the pulled pork sandwich. With potato salad that was awesome. And red beans and rice that was ok.
I didn't see a drink dispenser anywhere in there. But Coke from a bottle over ice would have been better. Wings were really messy but really good.
I'd like to suggest making your menu smaller. Get rid of the things you don't sell much of so that you always have fresh food to serve.
Nice place. Nice people. I would go back next time I'm in Denver?

I seen the smoker outside so me and my son decided to stop in. We let her know it was our first time in and we ordered food and sat down and then realized the girl who took our order was a little racist. She barely spoke two words to us and then a black customer comes in and she’s super talkative, letting her know all of the sides are available, different things they had available. It was our first time there and I definitely would’ve ordered differ if I would’ve know about those other options. I ordered the ribs and they were so good but they threw a few burnt ones at the bottom with no meat on them. We went in for the brisket but unfortunately it was not ready yet. Would probably stop in fort a second chance to try the brisket and some sides that I didn’t know were available.
