I've gotten togo food here twice so I cannot rate the service or atmosphere. I've lived all over the country and this is by far the worst BBQ I have ever had. I thought the first time had to have been a fluke so I wanted to give them a second chance.The sausage links tasted like liquid smoke cooked on a dirty flat top.The hush puppies were burnt, and apparently in the Midwest are bready onion balls, not corn fritters.The jalapeno poppers were dry and the cheese was chalky.I could smell the dirty container the bbq sauce was stores in when I open the little cup of sauce they provided.Within 20 minutes of starting to eat I was in the bathroom sick from both ends.I can not think of a restaurant that I would recommend less than this place. I'm sure whoever owns it are great people, but they should not be anywhere near a kitchen.Response to Owner's reply: This feels like a complete copout answer of "different strokes for different folks" I can agree that hush puppies are different depending on where you are, but them being burnt is a problem regardless of region or BBQ style. You did not address the smell of dirty sauce bottles in you BBQ sauce, or the fact that your food made my physically ill withing a half hour of eating it twice.This isn't just a difference in taste, it's a genuine repeat terrible experience. I'm not trying to be mean or get free anything, I just want you to look into this location and be sure your kitchen staff is using best practices, that your staff isn't just refilling half empty bottles instead of cleaning them to save time and get out early at the end of shift. I have a decade of restaurant kitchen experience myself, I'm well aware of shortcuts employees take and would think an owner would look into these claims instead of giving a politicians response and pretending everything is good as is.

I’m a big review reader before I go to a place, this review section gave me big time mixed vibes with the slew of five star reviews littered with one stars. I am searching to patronized any small business especially BIPOC establishments. I was raised in southern culture I know good food and more importantly I know soul food, cajun creole and those cuisines from my childhood. I’m so glad I was not led astray from this place because ALL of my food was amazing. When I saw the hot link and the sliced white bread I felt like I was home. The link was cooked perfectly BURNT a little, and exactly as it should be. The catfish was amazing dark, crispy with a cornmeal batter, and my baked beans and potato salad were exactly what I was expecting. Everything was delicious and the lady waiting on tables and taking togo orders was everything customer service should be. DO NOT HESITATE! Go eat some delicious food.

This modest, unpretentious place has some of the best BBQ I've ever tasted. I love variety, so I've ordered the Super Wolf each of the half dozen times I've been. Fried catfish, shrimp, brisket, pulled pork, hot link, and a quarter chicken. With two sides, which are everything you'd expect from a place this good. I usually get hush puppies and fried okra. You get enough for two with plenty left over. Another perk—I like to eat there because they stream '70s soul and funk. It's a nostalgic an incredibly gratifying experience.
Super friendly folks running a great BBQ place. The wings were amazing, very large and smoked perfectly. I also brought home pulled pork and burnt ends, both were very good.We also got a slice of lemon cake and chocolate cake, both were fresh homemade and very good!The inside is small but works for a quick meal, and you can order to go.

While I was there having lunch they were so busy completely full and had people there measuring for blinds and yet the ladies were so fast and friendly and the food well if you like good ol Oklahoma barbecue than this is for sure your place really enjoyed this place ..they definitely be bussin

It's fine. The food was about what I'd expect if my neighbor invited me to a bbq in her backyard, down to the Walmart value pack white bread bun. I certainly ate it all but it was entirely unremarkable.I got the pulled pork sandwich, mac and cheese and peach cobbler for reference.The interior of the restaurant is the physical manifestation of a migraine. Flickering fluorescent lights, loud muddy music, people listening to their phones on max volume, employees shouting out orders, a hundred different smells. The smells would be good if not paired with the rest of the sensory overload. I can't recommend entering that establishment less. Get delivery or something.The staff were nice. No complaints there.

Just tried this place for the first time and it was delicious! The beef ribs were fall of the bone tender, the hot links were very well seasoned and juicy, and the burnt ends had a perfectly salty bark while still having big chunks of tender meat. Also, the corn bread and hush puppies were both some of the best I’ve ever had! Will definitely be back to try more meats, as well as the delicious looking cakes that were on display and soul food Saturday.
I always get the Super Wolf because you get a little taste of everything. Great family owned business.

I just purchased the wolf super pack meal it's a sampler meal of one of each meat in two sides the catfish and shrimp was decent that won't complain but the barbecue was more like beef jerky the ribs were dry the brisket was dry the pulled pork was dry I am so upset and will never come back to this place again you've been warned great place for jerky though
The new waitress working there isn’t very customer friendly. She accused me of lying about the phone being busy. Management noticed the phone was in her pocket turned on, hence a busy signal. Rather than apologize, she said “I am not the one.” The one what? The want who kept customers from calling in their orders. I didn’t appreciate her attitude or her attempting to toss a pen in the holder in front of where I was standing.I like this place. It is the only restaurant that serves a decent amount of whiting on their sandwich and or dinners and knows how to fry gizzards. Hire better waitresses. The others ladies are just fine with me and know how to speak to customers.

We really wanted to like this place. We were really hoping to have a good experience, because it seems like it has not the best reviews. The food was not the best. It has potential to be good. It just needs some fine tuning. The cake we got the honey bun cake was super good though. Probably the best cake I have ever had.

Food was definitely not worth the price I got the the beef tip dinner it came with glory greens mushy over cooked rice a very salty gravy the meat was tender but they barely give you not that it would make up for the rice I also got the brisket sandwich another disappointment very tuff like bubble gum tuff and dry I really would not recommend this place to anyone waste of money

Tried out hungry wolf and was VERY disappointed the staff was amazing but what got me was EVERYTHING i ordered was disgusting and tasted very much store bought the ribs tasted like burnt smoke the greens Mac and cheese and yams were very much straight out a box and can, I spent close to $80 and everything was a waste of money ordered catfish and didn’t get that whatever fish it was had no seasoning and very mushy will not come back to this place especially when looking for some GOOD BBQ this place is very much not that
