Disappointed. Service was fairly slow. Appetizers (crab wontons and pork dumplings) were plentiful, hardy, and quite good. The entrees were a mixed bag - in general it seemed like the seafood was good, but chicken, steak, and pork were not good at all. The meats were very low quality cuts and very overcooked. If you do go, stick with seafood.

We had eaten at Imperial several times, several years ago and couldn't wait to get back to what was one of our favorite restaurants. We ordered the sesame chicken plate and the Pad Thai bowl. Both were very good, just not as excellent as we remembered. The Pad Thai noodles were so large, we could barely pick them up with our chopsticks and the chopsticks themselves were unable to hold even grains of rice. Honestly. we loved it!! We’ve driven past this place so many times and I had no idea how beautiful it was inside. The ambiance was great and had peaceful music. We had shrimp tempura, schezhaun shrimp and the sizzling black pepper steak. Can truly say it was some of the best Chinese food I’ve had in Denver and felt very surprised by any of the low reviews that almost kept us from going.
