Had the saag paneer, chickpeas, saffron rice and a couple of curries. Excellent food, looking forward to coming back.

My recent $10 Too Good To Go order left me underwhelmed. The food itself was flavorful, but the portion was surprisingly small, especially the main dish. As you can see in the picture, the meal was overwhelmingly rice with a meager two tablespoons of curry. Upon arrival, I had to call into the kitchen a few times before staff noticed me at the door. Thankfully, the food was packed, and they quickly provided plastic spoons when requested. For $10, I anticipated a more substantial meal; the current offering feels overpriced for what amounts to mostly rice. Although I experienced some typical post-Indian meal indigestion, my main concern is the value. While I'm grateful to the staff, I don't plan on purchasing another meal from this establishment.
Until today was our favorite Indian restaurant. We are so disappointed.
The food was amazing, plenty to choose from. Today we arrived to a very limited buffet and the food was not fresh. Hardly any chicken on the buffet, the mango custard tasted like it had gone bad, the carrot dessert was congealed, the watermelon was gummy so it had been in the refrigerator at least overnight. Just not up to the standards of this restaurant a year ago.
The service was horrible. The girl who waited on us sat at a booth eating and taking to a guy the entire time we were there. Never came over to check on us. When she finally picked up our plates, she flung rice on my husband.
This is such a bummer because we used to love the food and the staff.

Love this place, one of the last Indian buffets left in Denver area (for dinner at least) They have lots of vegetarian options and some vegan friendly. They do not really label it accordingly but it does exist. Great meat options as well and there samosas are some of the best around. I wish they had some spice options as most foods are made in the mild range, so I can't give it a perfect score but the food is delicious. The Restaurant is a little dated at this point and is in a older area of University Hills so it is expected, But don't let the exterior throw you off, the food is great, the service is friendly and knowledgeable. overall I highly recommend this place.
Dietary restrictions: some foods do have dairy (Yogurts), most are coconut milk though.
Kid-friendliness: food is mild and they have veggie options as well as some sweet foods.

Food is bland, lacking a lot of flavor. I have had a lot better Indian food. Taste like it has been sitting out for hours with no seasoning. Naan sucks, pakora no flavor and nothing has a spice. I will pass from now out.

The best thing about this restaurant is the food. While most Indian restaurants taste pretty much the same, the food at India Oven has a unique, more home-made flavor. Like a secret family recipe. The worst part about this restaurant is that they seem to be empty every time I go. Tucked away in the distant corner of a crumbling strip mall, this "diamond in the rough" deserves a lot more attention.
