Beautiful food, as always! We love the mandarin yellowtail and the aburi toro. Such a great place.
We usually love Izakaya Den, however this past experience left a sour taste in our mouth. We had a 5:15pm reservation. From the very start of the evening at the hostess stand it was clear that they wanted us in and out. Our waitress tried to rush every single drink and course order. She came back 2x for our food order before our first round of drinks had arrived. I fully understand tables needing to flip but for a $600 tab plus tip pls let us enjoy our 90 min or so and not make it feel like we are taking up important space or take trays as we lift last piece of sushi. Food is great. Our server could have used some more training for sure. Felt like a factory. Overall a really disappointing exoerience.
We enjoyed a very memorable dinner with a group of 9. Robert was our server and was extremely attentive and suggested a Omakaze style service for our family. We had so many delicious courses. We all raved on each and every course. We had a wonderful event and memorable evening!
We usually sit on the Sushi Den side, but I couldn't get in so I found a rezzo on the Izakaya Den side. We love that side, too, now. It's a bit quieter; or at least it was when we went. We always love sitting at the sushi bar, and this time we had Keigi-san (apologies for misspelling). He was fan-freaking-tastic!! He was friendly, funny, and just delightful. Alex was our server, and he was also awesome! We LOVE the food, so that's never a problem. The uni was on point (love when it's from Santa Barbara)!! And we're HUGE toro fans; it's ocean butter -- delicious!! The family of restaurants under Yasu and Toshi are our favorites.
Our server was phenomenal. She guided us through the menu and helped us make wonderful selections
The service was among the best I've had lately. But impossible, the fish was even better. A true treat.
Jim was a great server. Very knowledgeable, interesting, and helpful. The food was fantastic and worth every penny!
Food was not impressive for the price. The tables were extremely small. Service was not on power with a restaurant of this CALIBER, nor was the quality of food.
Fantastic food and service. Highly recommend Izakaya Den. The Bluefin toro was particularly amazing
Sushi Den and Izakaya is our favorite restaurant in the Denver Metro area. We've never had a bad experience here and this time didn't disappoint either. Out of all the times we've eaten at Izakaya, this experience raised the bar even higher. Our waiters name was Alex and he was a big reason why the experience was elevated. His win and sushi suggestions were incredible! We're lookimg forward to our next visit.

Really do love this place. It is my all time favorite in Denver. The vibe of the restaurant is great for any occasion and the quality of the sushi is very well priced for what you are getting. The staff is very knowledgeable and if you utilize their valet service you can just walk in and out, no problem!

Everything was fantastic. Sashimi, especially the salmon, tuna, eel were exceptional. Great cocktails. Top service from the while staff. Really appreciated that they noticed both the anniversary note and nut allergy note on the reservation.

Don't be fool by the name, even though it says izakaya it's really more like fine dining sushi restaurant. Best to try Japan imported sushi to really enjoy. I was expecting more izakaya menu but I didn't find much, rather than more Americanized menu.
