I hadn't been here in years but went for a football watch party and left thinking we haven't missed anything and won't go back. We found out the hard way that their cocktails are outrageously expensive. We ordered a Mexican mule, which we thought was $12, but that was only for the tequila. Adding in some ginger beer tacked on $5, which is such a rip off. We also ordered a pitcher of Bud Light since there were no micobrews on tap, and when we got the bill, it was a whopping $21. Then on to the food, which was horrible. We each had a hamburger, thinking that's a tough thing to screw up, but somehow Jackson's managed to do just that. They add some kind of fake barbecue smoke flavoring to the meat and it's plain awful. In retrospect, I suspect it's probably to disguise poor quality beef. Also, the burgers start at $16 and this does not include a side, which tacks on an additional $5. They also added an automatic 20% gratuity, which I know is customary for larger parties, but there were only four of us. The entire experience was icky, and if I'm going to pay this much for food and drink (all in plastic cups and baskets, mind you), there are so many better options in Denver.
