We had an awful wait time. Their waitlist system didn't work properly so we kept getting bumped. I'm willing to understand that this is maybe not the normal, but I need to be honest about it.
What the service lacked, they made up in flavor though! Our food was amazing!
Added: because I can't reply to the owners response, I will add: the host most definitely did not explain the process. This is the first place I've ever been where the customer is expected to read between the lines of the waitlist text. If a table was ready, why not just say a table is ready? I would recommend a change to that process. Also, yes I take responsibility for not being more proactive. I could have approached the host stand sooner than I did. A note to remember for next time.

The food and service have gone downhill. I had the corn beef hash. It was just okay. The service was not very good either. They are very understaffed. The lack of service is more of a management problem. The wait staff was working extremely hard but just couldn’t the volume of tables each of them had. It took me about 20 minutes to pay my check and get a small to go box.
Pretty disappointed. Take out food took 30+ mins of waiting when they weren't busy and they also didn't fully get the order right. Something to note is they don't give you utensils and don't ask if you need it. Wouldn't be a big deal if you were at a place that had utensils but we weren't.
They add 5% kitchen fee which maybe it is somewhere on the menu but I didn't see it. So that was disappointing too.
I used to go to the one on 13th had no issues there. Maybe this was just an off day who knows.
The service forgot about us a few times, and we had to get some food that we ordered to go because we were on a time crunch. The donuts are overrated, especially for the price. Waitlist was easy to navigate.

I liked everything about this place. Saturday morning with the family, donuts and food was tasty, staff was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was fun.
Great staff. Typical diner food. Vegan options.

Been coming here for a long time and with each visit this place gets worse and worse. It seems like there’s only 2 people running the show and when it gets busy good luck waiting 2 hours till your server stops by.
Food is always cold and undercooked

Went for brunch with a friend on a Sunday afternoon. It was fine getting seated once we were both there and no wait. Food was good overall but the service wasn’t. Didn’t seem understaffed for the size of place but servers were too busy otherwise we were barely checked on. We got charged for a chai drink my friend ordered and didn’t get b/c they were out. Tried to call to resolve but didn’t pick up the phone. And I should’ve read reviews that they automatically add a 5% kitchen fee. Would’ve tipped less based on service and if I knew they had a service charge on there already

Last time I was here it was yummy! But hopefully get an answer, I’m looking for mimosas and one menu says bottomless mimosas on a Monday morning. Is this still valid?? I work night shift and want to get mimosas for my birthday

Great food! Friendly service. The French toast and biscuits and gravy are awesome. Fresh fruit cup is great.

**(Update after owner response)**
I was excited to see that my review had gotten a response from the owner and hoped it would be an offer to make things right. Perhaps a percentage off a meal order.
But instead I was send a short apology about how that is not what they want for their guests. Literally doing the bare minimum to win me over. It would have been better if they had said nothing at all. Somehow that feels less insulting.

My first time there I walked in and waited for 5 mins. In that time I was not greeted or asked to have a seat. Even though kitchen staff saw us and made eye contact they made no effort to make us feel welcome. As we waited a man came in and walked past us and sat at the bar. As he did a member of the kitchen staff came out to greet him and begin asking him what he'd like.
Parking is a bit annoying but not impossible. It's to be expected on this side of town after all.
However I will never give this restaurant another chance and I don't suggest anyone bother to visit based on my visit.

I love the cereal boxes on the walls and the whole vibe of this cafe. It's busy but we didn't wait long for a table or food. Breakfast was tasty and the service was excellent.
