I am celiac with a side of dairy intolerant. I love places like this because not only do I feel safe but they often have such healthy options that I feel extra good after eating there! I got the burger with a side salad and vegan ranch dressing. My burger was delicious! It was juicy and I loved the bun, it was a nut/seed based kind and it kind of blew my socks off how much I enjoyed it. The salad does me so much better than fries though they have options for that as well. The next day we came back and I got the breakfast burrito which I enjoyed very much and it was enormous so I took the remainder to go and ate it two more times. I do wish the green chile was a bit more pronounced, but I grew up in NM and that's a high standard for green chile. I believe this was actually Hatch chile but it was pretty mild and made the way Coloradoans do it, more of a pork sauce than heaps of straight green chile vegetable. But don't let my chile snobbery detract... I was still very happy with my breakfast burrito. This also worked very well for my diabetic friend, whose blood sugar was pretty happy after eating. If I was a Denverite I would be here regularly, and when I come to the city this is going to stay on my go-to list of celiac-safe places that are also delicious!

This place is amazing. I have been on a very strict lifestyle diet for many years and hated not being able to go out to eat. Someone recommended this place and I'm able to eat most of everything on the menu and the things I have eaten had the most amazing flavors. Even my husband who eats a standard diet has found the food outstanding.

Everything is gluten free. Great quesadilla, but a bit dry had to put the sauce on. The soups weren’t the best but the salad was amazing and the wraps were good.

One of the only reliably paleo friendly spots in Denver! Most things I’ve tried are delicious and often times better than the gluten alternative (for instance the tortillas)!

We got two smoothies. I think each was $13. They had barely any fruit in them and they didn’t taste good. Whatever non-fruit ingredients that were in there overwhelmed the taste.
I asked how her smoothie tastes. She said, “It’s a gentle whisper of grass fart”

$14.44 for a mason jar smoothie. lol, lmao ***crying internally***
That 44 cents feels like an insult somehow? I politely declined to leave a tip when the touch screen that took my order asked for one.
To be fair the food is great here and obviously high quality! I'm just... exhausted.

I used to love eating at Just BE but my last few orders have consistently been bad. One of my orders a couple months back I got food poisoning from and felt horrible for a week then avoided eating from here for a while. Then I decided to try again and recently my delivery orders always have something missing from them and the food is not fresh. The BEst quesadilla is my go-to order and the last couple have such a tiny amount of the “cheddar” wiz the whole thing tastes so dry and to make it worse the chicken is dry and hard/ seems leftover from the day before. I think it may be a different chef because the quesadillas are also cut differently than before? I was really hoping the disappointing orders were just a short time fluke but it seems time to move on from one of my fav places :/

Restaurantji Recommends
I stopped by on a trip to Denver and had a weird experience, afterward I read reviews and it seems like this place is well-liked by people with severe dietary restrictions which I can understand, but as a typical diner I would say this place is pretty below par. It feels like the restaurant is operating on a knife’s edge of profitability and they’re cutting corners wherever they can. When I went there were no cashiers and no way to ask questions about the menu; there were staff working but they kept their backs to the counter and wouldn’t make eye contact. You have to order from a screen. The screen showed they were out of a lot of items. There’s very little info in the screen ordering, but the items we got didn’t look anything like the images. For example we ordered sweet potatoes, the image was of diced roasted sweet potato. We got spiralized sweet potatoes that had been cooked like a hash brown patty, but with no oil/seasoning. They were burned black where they touched the grill but were otherwise raw. Ordered a quesadilla, it came and seemed to not have any cheese in it (?) they explained they use cheese whiz, which is really strange but also they must have used a minuscule amount. They remade it for us with normal cheese, but when it arrived the cheese wasn’t melted inside, it was just a tortilla folded over cold cheese - at this point it was kind of comical, I mean how hard is it to make a quesadilla? For all of that, the prices were quite high versus the quality and serving size. If you need a place to go out to eat that can accommodate allergies this seems like a place that can, but otherwise I’d say it’s a bust.

I’ve been going here for years and i’m so sad with my recent experience! The chicken and dumplings were my favorite comfort food but it’s soup based now, not the thick gravy it used to come in ):
I asked if they changed their recipe but they didn’t so I can imagine they changed their chef. If you look at the older reviews with picture of this, you can tell it’s different.
Please change it back🙏🏽!
