Stopped in while on vacation in Denver. The kavatender Matt (I think?) was very friendly and welcoming. Even when it got busy he made sure to check in on everyone and it was evident he puts a lot of thought and energy into creating a great environment and community here. If I'm ever back in Denver this is the first place I would try to go. If you like or are interested in kava.Many kava bars are more like kava lounges, which are cool in their own way. But kavasutra has the same setup of a classic bar and as someone who doesn't consume alcohol much anymore it's kind of fun to be in that setting but drinking kava.

We come here multiple times a week. It’s different than many other kava bars as it kind of replicates a dive bar environment. Open until 2am and it actually gets very busy at night! Staff is friendly and welcoming and knowledgeable, especially Matt!

First time in and deborah was wonderful. She recommended something I haven’t had before (Triple Van), which was delicious! I adore the atmosphere and most of all deborah’s excellent and attentive costumer service skills. I can’t wait to come back especially because deborah made my experience worth while.
