A neighborhood haunt with surprisingly good food (try the bacon meatloaf) and slow (laidback?) service. There is always available parking on the neighborhood streets. I suspect most patrons walk to the Inn.

The Kentucky Inn is a a fun neighborhood hang out and a iconic bar of the 40s, the owner Jim Armstrong is an amazing entrepreneur and I was very honored and excited to be chosen to help with the renovation of the new booth, tables, barstools, and paint job. It has been serving this community since before World War II when the Gates rubber company had three shifts running, and workers would come by at six in the morning as they got off of work for something good to eat and cold beer and a place to smoke and although smoking is long gone on the inside the bar still carries age, kissed Surface of the old ashtrays and elbows. Not to see the Kentucky Inn is to miss what South Denver all about.

A very typical neighborhood bar. Not great. Not terrible. They have a decent number of local taps. However they're all pretty cliche, predictable beers. Nothing very interesting.Servers and bartenders have always been great, but they do seem short staffed at times.Food has been decent. Burger I got last time, I ordered med rare and it was well done. Almost unforgivable.

Good Friday fish fry but $22 for two small fillets and some greasy fries is way…way too much. Those are Kobe beef prices. Bad loud music tooThe waitress was

I feel like this place is a hit or miss. Sometimes everything is great, food is warm, service is great. Other times service is slow and food is cold. Overall it’s a nice warm cozy environment!

Having lived in Wisconsin for quite awhile, I appreciate the Packer Bar vibe. Good burgers, really decent beer selection, Friday night fish fry, but I miss bar dice.

I've put off writing this review probably a little longer than I should have, but given upcoming NFL playoffs, it feels like I really ought to share my experience. I went with a group of friends to the Kentucky Inn to watch the college football championship earlier this month (Go Blue!). I honestly asked a lot of questions before agreeing to this, because I was a bit concerned about setup, capacity, etc. I was reassured heartily by my friend. And I will say the vibe in terms of tables and TVs was nice; definitely cozy low key neighborhood feels. That said, the service was a huge issue. We arrived around 5/5:30 and got in a round of beers. We were told we couldn't order food yet, which I was fine with, figuring the server wanted to pace things. From there it devolved though. More and more people poured in, and as the game started (and continued...) no additional service was to be had. If we tried to ask for anything we got told 'not now.' To summarize immensely, there was one server working on a night with probably about a 100 patrons, and everyone was in the same boat. There was a bartender as well, and he eventually began pitching in to work the rest of the restaurant. Clearly, they were remarkably understaffed for a huge sporting event, and while I certainly commiserate with the staff trying to handle the situation, it was a pretty epic disaster. We tried at one point to get some pitchers to help the service situation, but were told by the server they were out of draft beer (later we got a different story, the issue was they only had a handful of pitchers). We also couldn't leave at any point, because they took our credit cards when we arrived hours earlier. I didn't get to order and eat any food (or a second round for that matter) until over 3 hours into the evening at some point during the fourth quarter. We all certainly would've spent a lot more at this establishment if they had been staffed properly, as I'm sure would've everyone else. And while perhaps some people might wonder if a Monday night game was the issue (even if it was a national championship), I will further note that my friend spoke with the manager before making our reservation for 20 people and was told they could handle it. **He called a few more times during the week beforehand to ensure this.** So honestly, that feels like a choice.

Not like the Kentucky Inn of old! It's now a very nicely remodeled place! Plenty of tv's for sports, food is excellent! My new spot on weekends!!...
