Stopped in after a haircut next door at cedar, it wasn't busy in the late afternoon early eve which was really nice. I had Kin Nori Bar on my radar so it was a happy accident to be right next door. It was dark and chill which I loved. The menu is super minimal which is a good sign in my opinion.
Everything I had was amazing, I was so impressed, the toro with caviar was a perfect bite and the unagi was so light and buttery! Everything was really fresh and high quality. The waitress was lovely and the chefs on display were amazing. I can't wait to come back again for a date night!

This is, without a doubt, a splurge, but it is absolutely worth it! Yes, the prices are higher than the average sushi bar, but what you receive is a genuine culinary experience, with fish so fresh and meticulously prepared it melts in your mouth. From the impeccable service to the serene ambiance, every detail justifies the cost. If you're celebrating a special occasion or simply craving the absolute best sushi you've ever had make the reservation. This is the definition of a well-earned treat.

Absolutely one of the best restaurants in Denver-and I’m a native! Such a beautiful, peaceful dining atmosphere. Quiet restaurant with great music and the low drone of conversation. Love that the restaurant accommodates a small group of people and that the staff is minimal as well. Super kind and polite host/waitress/bartender. Love the large fine-dining feel of the big square sushi bar. The food and drinks are unique and absolutely delicious. Great specials, relatively small-medium menu featuring only beautiful, delish, fresh, unique fish. Loved the jalepeno yellowtail, both signature rolls, scallop and tuna nigiri, and the matcha affogato is a real treat. Highly recommend!

This is hands down our favorite sushi spot in the greater Denver area, and the quality has dramatically improved under the new ownership. Everything is superb.

I can’t praise Kin Nori enough!!!

Yes, they have rolls but they excel in elevated sushi. The fish is such great quality and fresh. The mix of garlic butter, ponzu, FRESH WASABI, aburi, tobiko, and caviar keep me coming back. I also love how they cut the fish and their rice ratio👏🏼

I always get whatever they serve with garlic butter & ponzu, the temaki aburi scallop, and the Negitoro Fatty Tuna w/ Fresh Wasabi & Chives. But the amberjack surprised me the most today! It was so sweet and the texture was like amaebi and a scallop- will be adding it to the rotation.

This place is so perfect for that experiential visit for next level food and a great sushi bar atmosphere. This was our first time since the space became Kin Nori, and we were NOT disappointed. They kept the same set up as the previous place, which was a great call. The openness as you walk in, with a perfect bar that allows you your personal experience within that beautiful openness. We caught HH here, and loved it. Some clubby sort of background music provided uplifting energy without interrupting the meal conversation. Great balance. Wife had a wine, I had the Orion rice lager ($8), and we shared a saki bottle ($24), and the three temaki for $8 each. The saki was high quality. Each of the temaki were good in their own way. The yellowtail typically would win for me, but we both agreed the salmon won this food battle. All were excellent though, including the other one, the blue crab. The miso soup was also quite tasty. I was also told by expert sushi wife that this was probably the best sushi she has had in Denver in quite a while. And THAT is definitely a high compliment. The open prep area is great, of course, and the space itself is so inviting. The wasabi is fresh wasabi, and I even could tell the quality difference from other places. And their presentation of each portion of food is immaculate. It looks phenomenal before it actually tastes phenomenal. That would be a great tagline for them, in my opinion. Wassa was our server, and she was on point, very friendly, helpful with our selections, and elevated our experience overall even more. The value from the regular menu to the HH one was a pretty minimal delta to me, but what I WILL tell you is this. I am happy to pay the price if the experience and quality of food surpasses the value of that price. It did, without a doubt. We both walked out very happy, it was incredible sushi, I highly recommend stopping by this place, and see you there...

Never been here before, wanted to try something new. Wassa was both our server and host and experience couldn’t be better. I had the salmon avocado with poke and Hubs had the UMI signature role. We didn’t lick our plates because we’re not obnoxious, but we did consider it. Very creative food and plate presentation. Loved the Fat bottle of hot sake. Accommodating and welcoming to both me and my service dog, which is always appreciated.

Well this restaurant lived up to all the reviews I read before going. The food, its quality, flavors and presentation are all absolutely amazing.

Our party had two couples. The main thing to know is that this is all bar seating in a U-shape around the chefs. It’s best for parties of two. We were a party of 4. We arrived on a Friday night a little before 6pm and were able to snag one of the two corners so all four of us could talk.

The menu is small but doesn’t need to be bigger. We decided against the Chefs set as them every choice on the menu looked good . We ordered a large portion of the menu including all three starters, both rolls, and elements from all sections of the menu. We did not leave there hungry. We each had two drinks as well. We spent about $110 per person in total.

Highly recommend.

I have a crush... on this sushi bar. Great atmosphere, sleek bar seating, and most importantly, the best sushi I have had in all of the Denver metro. Forget the soy sauce, every bite is seasoned to perfection just as the chefs intended. Cocktails are the perfect pairing, crisp palate cleansers to delight between bites.
Just really, really good sushi. Dang.
