This was one of the best lunch purchases I've made in a long while. My partner and I were looking to try a new place and we're so glad it was Kitsune. The pork tonkatsu was delicious, filling, and priced perfectly. My partner got the chicken kara age and she said it was just splendid. We're going to be repeat customers. The presentation, amount of food, and price are just perfect.
A perfect hidden gem. The presentation is absolutely beautiful and is only topped by the perfect balance in the entire bento box. We have been several times now and it is always amazing. I couldn't recommend this place more, I wish they can open a restaurant soon!
I ordered a scallop and a steak bento box. Both were super delicious and flavorful. The ingredients tasted fresh as well! Will definitely be back to try the other boxes.
Ordered two bentos. The scallops and the vegetarian. Both were amazing!! And I love the little side items, tiny tastes that were delicious all to themselves. Decent amount of food, fantastic presentation and yummy.
Everything was delicious! Loved the fresh ingredients, and my box was a perfect portion size. Excited to see what entrees will come next
Love this place every since they opened it has been my favorite place to eat. They have great food and all the drinks you could ask for!
These bentos are definitely worth your time and money! Be sure to get a few because the entire crowd will be pleased and want some of what your having. Great food great service, and love supporting local!
I really enjoyed the bento box and found it hard which one to choose! Look forward to exploring the menu more. First, the food was delicious. I tried the Cantonese Heirloom Tomatoes with Flank Steak and loved the mix of flavors including peppers. All the boxes scream color and brightness just like the food itself. Packaged in a compostable bento box. This is what a wonderful take home experience should be like during these times where people like myself feel more inclined to imbibe at home. I picked up during the day and it wasn’t easy to figure out where to go but word to the wise: head to the back.
To say that Kitsune knocks Bento boxes out of the park is an understatement. We don't live nearby but we've probably tried every single item on the menu since their opening! When we first saw Kitsune's presentation of their offerings on social media, we knew this might be the one. Over the years, our desire to find a place that offers Bentos that were on par with those we tried on our multiple trips to Japan -- where ALL items in the box are done equally well -- was fleeting. Often times, the main course is usually done well but all of the side items are afterthoughts or just throw-ins. Sometimes bentos are just not fresh in general. Not at Kitsune. ALL items are fresh and even side items are co-stars of the dish. The ingredients are fresh, presentation is wow, and best of all, the food is on point -- taste, texture, and balance. Our favorites are the Elko Moco, Omurice, and Scallop Yuzu Ceviche thus far. It's not that other items aren't any good, but these three items were unique and left an impression. The menu items are never boring because they incorporate some traditional items with a modern twist. Some of the items are so refreshing for the warmer months and the always changing side items are always a nice surprise due to the "freshest ingredients" rotation they've got going on.Kitsune is located within American Bonded's bar on Larimer near Denver Central Market. Outside of the Bento boxes, they also offer a Kaiju bar menu which we have yet to try due to the whole situation with the pandemic. One day. That said, the guys running the place are nice people and, we know once we get past these challenging times, they will thrive. Until then, support Kitsune as this one is worth the calories!
A friend and I ordered delivery from here a few days ago and even though we put the order in a day in advance it arrived 30 mins late and was cold.We called the restaurant and the person who answered was unapologetic and refused to offer any sort of credit or refund despite us having to pay quite a bit extra for a delivery charge and 18% gratuity on the full cost (including delivery).I'm normally very supportive of local restaurants, especially those with Japanese cuisine but I wouldn't recommend due to the rude customer service.

The lunch tonkatsu pork bento box was delicious! Tons of flavor, quality ingredients, and nice portions. Definitely got my money's worth. Will be back ASAP.
This food is the BOMB
Delicious! Quick and easy. Trout was bomb. Chicken was bomb. Highly recommend
So delicious! Fresh and healthy ingredients. Convenient and affordable, too. This is the perfect way to lunch during quarantine!!
