You can call it "basic" but it's perfectly homey, especially if you're looking for a sweet diner that will remind you of a home cooked breakfast with your family.Food was delicious, made fresh, and served with absolutely lovely customer service- which alone made it worth the trip.

An omelette is $9.50 but it’s $2.50 for a 3oz serving of ham, 0.75 for a handful of bell peppers, 0.65 for a handful of onions and 0.75 for a few tomatoes and $1.00 for a slice of cheese. So basically their $9.50 omelette is just egg and if you want topping, it’s a $20.00 omelette. I hate when businesses do unreasonable up charging. I loved this spot when it was Kyles kitchen but I won’t go now.

Nice little place. Excellent breakfast. Fluffy biscuits and buttery (not greasy) fried potatoes. Wonderful waitress. Totally enjoyed our conversation.

Been going here for years when it was Kyles Kitchen. Today I ordered 2 chicken fried steaks online. Got confirmation and a notification that the order was ready 25min later. Showed up and they informed us that they were out of chicken fried steak and just never made our food or bothered to call us. Not sure whats going on with the new management.

Kat gave us excellent service and the food was good to boot!

I used to eat at Kyles, maybe every other week, for a couple of years. I tried the new version today. I just paid $4 for a side of bacon, and literally got 1, single piece of bacon. The cheese on my breakfast sandwich was the family dollar value cheese food. I don't know who these other reviews are from, but I suspect family. My total was 15$ and I tipped. Buyer beware.

Absolutely fantastic food! Wonderful, friendly service! Incredibly impressed! Mango salsa was the best! Green chili out of this world! Very homey atmosphere and more than affordable prices! Fantastic!

This was my favorite spot and one of the few spots that served hash browns in close to me. I love the small diner atmosphere and the simple Breakfest menu. Hash browns are a deal breaker for me so I won't be back.

Got food delivered to the Berkeley Inn and it was such a good price AND delicious. Ordering takeout soon!

Great home cooking. So far, I've had the breakfast burrito (love the green chili), Poncho Potatoes (I got mine with hash browns, was so yummy) and the Biscuits and Gravy (definitely my favorite so far). Great staff! Will definitely be back again.

Was seeking a place to lunch with my mentor in this tony neighborhood. The website photos showed some fabulous dishes and creative meal presentations. What we got was something much different starting with the menu. We learned that the restaurant was under new ownership as of January, and the old website had not been updated. Service and hospitality was excellent but the food was 'eh'. Oh well, it was just lunch.

I think I missed the boat on trying Kyle’s when it used to be good. Our order was incorrect and the food was not good. I couldn’t even get a coffee refill, but that was probably for the best since the coffee was poor quality. The waitress was running around apologizing for messing up orders at other tables as well, so maybe she was just having an off day.

How sad is it that the owner has to come on here and patheticly defend her poor restaurant when people give her honest reviews. Dont advertise fresh ground coffee at the counter then have folgers cans laying around. Plagiarism is the back bone of this establishment.
