Excellent Ramen and Karaage. As with any other Ramen places I've been to everywhere (except Ramen Nagi), the egg wasn't prepared as "Ajitsuke" in a marinade but was just a normal soft-boiled egg... But other than that one nitpicked item, everything was excellent.

Amazing taste, very fresh ingredients and if you are a fan of the anime "Food Wars" you cant not love the level of umami!!!! The food and service are top notch, the place is just a classic lunch spot and the prices match that. Again the depth of flavor wow. Highly reccomend.Vegetarian options: Vegetable Ramen. among other offereings, it is with the main dishes.

Wow what a few blocks does… I tried ramen at another location… and couldn’t believe how unsatisfactory the experience was… then stumble upon Kyoto! Fresh! Tasty and upbeat! TBT I thought I was walking into chopstickers then realized at the counter it was a ramen joint! What a splendid mistake! The ramen was warm flavorful and indulged in some kimchi too!

We would kind of grub our grubs with our bare hands washed or unwashed in Filipino, because my ancestors were pretty much savages....So no......I don't know how to use the chopsticks.And the Miso is heavenly and the owners are hospitable here. Only one tiny problem.....Where the meat at in the Shrimp Tempura, I need the meat????!!!!! All I got was flour!
Do yourself a favor and go to a different Ramen place. The broth has barely any flavor and the noodles aren't any good either. You could boil an egg at home and have the same or better flavor. All in all the Ramen was below average. Chicken Karaage was like a 6/10.
