I walked in on a Monday morning 10/6/25 and was waiting to be seated while the cashier just looked at me not saying a word. I then asked “do we seat ourselves?” and he just points to a sign with no words seeming very annoyed we’re there. We then start ordering and my wife orders Menudo but that’s apparently only available on Sunday's, doesn’t say that anywhere on menu? The cashier was very short and rude like he didn’t care for our business. So much for trying to help the struggling colfax business with all this construction going on.

I was charged $18.00 for a $10 dish. I called when I saw the charge on my cc and they said “well it was 18 that day”.
That was not listed on the menu.. I asked for a refund and they told me they close in 20 minutes and if I wanted the 8 dollar difference - only cash - I’d need to come back in person and were very rude on the phone because I wouldn’t travel back to get the “refund”.
This establishment is a scam. I won’t go back for them to fix this issue, they should have been able to fix it on their end. It’s a bummer because I do love supporting local restaurants, and honestly their enchiladas taste good so far, but i won’t be back again. I’ll stick to plenty other respectable local places nearby on colfax.
In response to the owner: I was not intoxicated, and I'm not sure why that would be relevant. Even IF (again i was not..) I was too intoxicated to serve, you have the right to deny service at any time, I work in the service industry as well. Here is where it was listed as on the menu, as most of the prices were marked with edits over the prices.

This was a good deal for some authentic, tasty, Mexican food. I got chicken tacos and al pastor tacos. My friend got an al pastor torta. 2 tacos were satisfying for me. 3 tacos would leave most people very full. The tacos came with diced onions and cilantro on top. It was all delicious. The construction on Colfax makes it a little harder to get to this spot, but it's worth it.

This restaurant had a spot at a car show that we went to over the weekend. We stopped on the way out and got 4 asada tacos and 4 carnitas tacos. The asada was delicious and the carnitas were good too but could have used more seasoning. We only tried the red salsa but it was very good. They had cilantro and onions on the tacos and limes on the side. They also offered aguas frescas. We did not partake, but it was nice to have it available. The ladies were fast and very friendly.

Best breakfast burrito you’ll ever find at a very reasonable price. They come loaded with eggs cheese and a choice of bacon or chorizo. There’s some sauce on there that’s killer too. It’s very hard to access at the moment with the Colfax construction but don’t let that deter you from having the best Breakfast burrito in Cap Hill.
