We thought it was just the name that changed but the food is not good, no flavor or seasonings. When it was La lomas it was the best food. It’s a high priced restaurant with food that is not Authentic Mexican food any more. It’s more Tex mex on the boarder quality.

We were really looking forward to trying this place, but unfortunately the food was disappointing. The main issue was that everything we ordered just lacked flavor. We tried the Tacos Dorados brisket tacos, the Mexico City tacos with all 3 meat options, and the chili con queso - and all of it was very bland. Honestly, the only thing that stood out was the salsa they brought to the table when we sat down, which was fresh and had good flavor.
On the positive side, the margaritas were great, and the service was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and very kind. They did forget to bring out our queso initially, but they fixed it right away and even comped it, which we appreciated.
Overall, while the drinks and service were wonderful, but the food really missed the mark for us. With a little more seasoning and flavor, this place would be awesome!

The food was delicious, although I must admit it’s hard to truly impress me with cuisine alone. What absolutely stood out, however, was the service—100%. Coming from the restaurant industry myself, I can confidently say this was top-tier hospitality.
We were amazed by the atmosphere! The entire team works in perfect harmony, creating an unforgettable experience. From the very first moment, you feel right at home. Every request was heard, and every wish was thoughtfully fulfilled.
This restaurant is a true gem—where exceptional service meets an inviting atmosphere.

Excellent all around. I miss the old location in the house by the stadium, but Savina's just justice to La Loma down to the original stained glass from the cantina and photos on the walls. I ordered chicken fajitas and a couple el Diablo Margaritas. I highly recommend both. Fried ice-cream is also excellent and slightly better than it used to be up on the hill.

If you love green chile, this is the place to go. I grew up in Colorado, and sadly have missed the type of Mexican food I grew up with living in Illinois now. This place has delicious food. If you aren’t sure about green chile, they offer a sample (comes with a fresh tortilla).

Nester the manager should go get a job elsewhere arguing with us even though all the food came out wrong, they shouldn't let their divorce getting to the restaurant business because the quality of the food and service is gone downhill,!
