The space is pretty nice except the lighting is AWFUL with strobe lights flashing in your eyes constantly. Sundays are a super fun crowd with a solid intermediate lesson. Saturdays have live music but the salsa instructor is terrible - confusing teaching approach, bad class management and runs over the class time by at least 10 minutes. They have a bathroom attendent to hand you a paper towel and expects a tip, which is uncomfortable. The other thing that rubs me wrong is they charge $15-20 cover, and then $3 for room temp plastic water bottles (and you are not allowed to bring your own water). I want COLD water when dancing, and I don't want the microplastics or pollution that comes with a disposable bottle. This might not matter to you, but it really bothers me so I'm looking at other venues.
I'm sure people are having a good time, but the music is so loud until 1:30 a.m. I hate it! It is so disturbing and keeps me awake. They're located in a residential area, and there's no way they're abiding by the noise ordinance.
Music is unbearably loud
It's a place to dance the night away in Denver, great floor, great djs and the best salsa, bachata and Friday nights the best cumbia as well, very good drinks too, if you go, have fun!
This place is mad lame. Won’t give you a cup of water. Vibes are weird. Dancing lesson is cool, but quickly becomes unfun. The people who run the food outside are super cool.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
La Rumba is hands down one of the best spots in Denver! The music is always incredible, the atmosphere is electric, and the dance floor is full of energy. Whether you’re an experienced dancer or just looking for a fun night out, this is the place to be.
The DJs and live bands keep the vibe going all night, and the staff is welcoming and friendly. Every time we go, we have an amazing time. Highly recommend for anyone who loves great music, dancing, and an unforgettable night out!
Went out with my girlfriends for a salsa dancing night with a lesson provided prior. We had a blast learning and dancing with strangers, and loved how different everyone we danced with was. Hard to have a conversation due to the noise level (as expected). We all ordered espresso martinis and had a great time 😊
In short words ..a Magical Healing place since 1997..! The Andmosfer the Great Vibes Energy and we can keep going.. but that's all for Today.
Great fun!
I quit going there many years ago. If you're black female those men only dance with white and latin women. I was very disappointed.

Not too many people on the Thursday I visited the place at 10-11 pm. Mostly women there and they are charged a cover...
Fun place to visit
I go to La rumba on Thursdays. I went for my first Saturday last night. Not only was I charged 38$ for he tables on the ledge that are free. They had ropes and reserved signs everywhere. I have never seen this nor been treated like this ever at La rumba. The lady taking my payment took 30 minutes to use google translate that ruined the fun vibe for me. We left after 10 minutes and paid 38$ for a table that was roped off. Will not come back on a Saturday the vibe was awful. As a true Latin dancer from Miami, y’all should be ashamed of how you run Saturdays. A group of 2 girls come in for free, we want to see the over head of dance floor and you hold us hostage not enjoying our time for 38$ for 10 minutes? Shame on you. This establishment has turned into a cash pig and not a true Latin dance studio for locals. Do not go here on Saturdays. Will not be back. Terrible. Awful vibes.
I'm from Kansas and this place was amazing, Great vibe, great dancers, and great instructors this place is a must see!
I haven’t been in over 5 years and it looks the same , clean and the most friendly people . I had a blast.
