Great music, good crowd of people!

For years, La Rumba has been a happy place that promotes salsa classes and enjoys musical and cultural diversity, but how do you practice and learn to dance salsa if a new DJ only focuses on playing reggaeton and Punta? Understanding the importance of the crossover of musical genres would be more successful for the cultural diversity of Rumba, which is an essential part of the Latin nightclub. Also, the La Rumba security team overstepped their authority and made the clients leave with shouts. They need to remember that the clients pay for their coats to be kept and have to wait for them to be able to go. Even so, they took me out without my coat to wait outside. La Rumba customers hope they will be able to make cultural music balance a kind and secure environment as in past times.

I came here a week ago. My first club, let alone Latin dance club. I'm white with a little Spanish skill. I felt so welcomed here. Truly full of wonderful employees and patrons. I met people from all over the world here. This place is very special. I saw no drama, just people celebrating love or looking for it;) ( I saw many people finding it too lol). The beautiful door girl, I forget her name unfortunately but she is the sweetest person ever. The security was great too. They are definitely vigilant and I appreciate that as I have experience in that. Everyone should come drop their hard earned Dinero here. Mucho amor por mi amigos y amigas de La Rumba!

We had a great time. We took the bachata class and salsa class beforehand.

The entire place smells like raw sewage.

great to dance, but would not recommend due to the bathroom attendant. You can go to literally any other club in Denver to get a better experience. Went on a Friday night, and I've never been to a club with such a rude attendant. She was annoyed every time anyone came in and the most unpleasant to anyone who asked her about anything about the things she offered to everyone. incredibly unpleasant experience due to this.Really ruined the experience to have someone who was so rude for no reason at all and was so to everyone who came in. I've been to several clubs before, and never have I had this kind of experience so I would highly recommend the club switch this person out. I've had amazing experience where I've had attendants help me out with stuck zippers or making my night with kind compliments, but this attendant was incredibly rude to me and my friend who wasn't feeling her best this night.A little bit of kindness goes a long way for girls out for a night, and this really gave us a bad vibe that hasn't been present in any other club in Denver. I'd recommend any other club nearby because of this. There was also a lot more men than women which made it for a less than comfortable night out.

Would it recommend! I've been to serval clubs as part of promoter deals. Would recommend going to vinyl or church in Denver instead of la rumba. The biggest reason is the bathroom attendant. She was so unpleasant when trying to use the bathroom. Never in my life have I had a bad experience just because I needed to pee. She was being rude to several other girls in there, but no one wanted to interact and complain as everyone just wants to have a good time instead. This place would be 100x better to have someone kind! I would never tip this woman who was being rude to people trying to simply use the bathroom. It blew my mind to have such a bad experience. Plenty of clubs around that have more room, Latin music, and bathrooms that don't have rude attendants. I would be interested in going back if they switched out this employee with literally anyone else that has basic human empathy and decency. This woman was simply not meant to work in customer service I've never seen anyone so angry to interact with people on a Friday night. No one wants to interact with such hostile people in their night out on the town.

Went on a Sunday evening for the classes and had a great time. I recommend going here.

They almost shoped my head off in the restroom for daring to grab a paper tissue to blow my nose.

Based on recommendations I went to check out this place. Dj wouldn’t stop playing cumbia and reggaeton.I didn’t get to dance a single song because I never got to hear a salsa while I was there. Left after 40 minutes. I even went with a friend. 20$ wasted.

I had a great time tonight, until I walked up to the bar and asked if they could fill my water bottle before I ordered an Uber. I was thirsty. The bartender said that I was not allowed to have a water bottle in the bar. I put it in my purse and walked outside. The Uber took longer then expected so I walked inside because it was cold. The bouncer did not let me back inside because the bartender told him to 86 me because of my water bottle. It is pretty sad to get kicked out of this place over a water bottle. I would have returned in the future, but now it is questionable due to that bartender. As a bartender in the past, you should want your customers to be hydrated and also it is stupid to kick someone out over something so dumb as a water bottle.

Came here for a salsa dance lesson with my girlfriends and had the best time! The instructor was great and broke everything down slowly so that everyone could understand, making us feel very comfortable. I really saw all levels in the class from beginner to advanced so don't feel nervous if you're just looking to try something new. And there was a pretty even mix of women and men so you can practice together (and maybe even find your next cute date ). I really enjoyed the music they played and had so much fun!

Great atmosphere, with many friendly people.

This spot felt like ny/nj. Some of the best casual dancers I’ve ever met, the music was perfect, the vibe was great, the drinks were strong and cheap. I loved it!
