Absolutely amazing street tacos, out of a food truck, totally hit the spot. Had the asada, adobada, and barbacoa but I’m sure everything is delicious.
The tortillas are perfect - gave me a crispy tortilla with refried beans as an additional treat too

Exactly what we were looking for! Delicious tacos, loved the little add ons including refried beans on a tortilla, pickled veggies, and fresh salsas. While we were waiting they gave us some barbacoa to try which was flavorful and juicy. A couple picnic benches to sit at. Left very happy!

If you’re into hunting down the best tacos in Denver like I am, you need to try La Villa Real. A coworker of mine—who grew up in Mexico and is super picky about her tacos—put me on to this place. She said they make them just like they do in Mexico, and honestly, she wasn’t lying.
I call these life-changing tacos. I haven’t shut up about them since I went. The asada and barbacoa are unreal—so flavorful, juicy, and just all-around delicious. I tell anyone who will listen about this place.
They’ve got a truck at W Alameda Ave and S Decatur St, and a second location at 84th and Conifer Rd for those up in North Denver. The prices are super reasonable, which makes it even easier to go back again (and again). Trust me—it’s about to be your new favorite taco spot.
