I live in a place where nobody bothers to even try to make good donuts anymore so when I saw the prices I was ready to be disappointed, but I was wrong. These donuts are incredible! Great quality, great taste, and they’ve avoided the trap that most donut places fall into of trying to only make the craziest donut you’ve ever had. Doing the classics right and in their own way. I hope to come back soon.
Donuts were really good! The Ray’s Original Glaze was really good and so was the maple glaze. The red velvet was okay. My husband had the raspberry filled donut also and says it was good, heavy on the raspberry a little but tasty. Sorry we didn’t get picture of the donuts but it’s the anniversary box!
Can remember when Lamar’s first came to Denver from KC. It was a big deal since we really only had Winchell’s at the time. Glad to report that Lamar’s still puts out some really good, old school donuts. The maple was my favorite but honestly coulda mowed through the whole half dozen myself. Keep it up, old friend!
