I ate at Las Delicias regularly, starting in 1987. I'm so happy when I get the chance to visit again, like seeing an old friend.Three of us went for dinner, excited. The neighborhood is very different, more vibrant, and expensive. The building has been through many transformations. The lighting is good, furnishings simple, artwork fitting, and appears clean. The hostess showed the three of us to a table by the window.Service was prompt, friendly and efficient. My carnitas plate looked hearty, well presented, and hot. The shredded beef chimichanga had been ordered with a special request, and , when brought to the waiters attention, was snapped from the table, taken to the kitchen, and a corrected plate returned.Flavor and taste were lacking. Portions were ample, the prices were higher than I remembered from over a year ago.Overall, OKAY. Probably just stick with my favorite neighborhood place next time.

Updated inside but food seems more boring and bland. Is the entire staff in Jr High??Quality has gone downhill and the staff is hard to communicate with.

Blows my mind that this place has been open since 1976. It's bad fast food disguised as $$$ dining. I ordered $10 cup sized guacamole that was bland. Supermarket gauc is better. $30 dollar fajitas came sizzling. Good portion but only came with two Tortillas? Sour cream, guacamole, tomatoes etc. All bland. Fajitas were well seasoned but not worth $30. Servers just pretended to look like they knew what they were doing. They took my silverware 2 times. No communication just swooped up my plates when I'm in the middle of eating like a bird of prey. I felt leaving dissatisfied, a little angry, and quite frankly quite embarrassed. Buyers regret.

The first time I ate here was in 1987. It was just a corner dive. This place still has the best bean burritos and the atmosphere has improved over the years.

I have never felt so excluded from a place like today. When we entered they made bad faces and when we sat down, we realized that all the other tables had water in glass glasses and they brought us plastic ones to my table, I know that's what it was. It's not the problem but the difference was felt from the beginning. I swear I'll never go back.

The breakfast burrito was ok, and the green chili had good flavor. The portion size was incredibly small for charging $10.80 (including tax).
