Horrible, the nachos were spoiled, they had a horrible smell, please don't go to this restaurant.

We got margaritas and shrimp tacos. Both were SO GOOD! We will definitely be back. The mango margarita was definitely the winner. Free chips and salsa too :)

I am a regular customer and wherever I have order is really good. All the staff is friendly. Many locals claim to be the best restaurant around. Some times I enjoy a few oysters with a crown (corona) not in my head but in my hand) with some salsa (the spicy) not the music. Thanks M. I hope you like the book. ;)

This place is amazing! The new owner has really changed this place for the better! The food and drinks are amazing and they are always coming up with new plates and drinks to try. If you are going to try this spot don’t forget to order the shrimp empanadas they are the best I can eat like 50 of them. Any dish or drink you order you won’t be disappointed! Definitely a must try spot!!

Ok, after we stopped here and I started reading the reviews, I got a little worried. We opted to stay and find out for ourselves and we are glad we did. This place is incredible. A jewell of a place located on south Federal. We were welcomed by a lovely woman named Gaby. She sat us immediately and took our drink orders. I ordered soda water and that came out as a glass off water and a bottle of Coke. My bad, I didn't realize she didn't speak English and the error was comical and what the heck, I have not had a cold coke in a bottle for years. I'm sure sure heard "soda" and "water" in my order. The menu selections of traditional Mexican fare and seafood is top shelf. Some fantastic combinations that I would never have considered joining. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. The parking is simple and ample. We parked right near the front door. We likely walked 25 to enter the building. There is really catchy Mexican mariachi band type music playing in the background and it really adds to the experience. Once ordered, the food took about ten minutes and it all came out together. The food was hot, fresh and very tasty. The red sauce on my cheese enchiladas was quite spicy. Spicy in a very good way. My girlfriend had a pork carnitas torta and fries that she loved. Our experience here was fantastic. Beginning to end. The place, the food, the server..... Everything was first rate. We will gladly return here to try other selections from this incredible menu.

Las Islitas is a hidden gem that we keep coming back to for its outstanding service, amazing food, and welcoming ambiance. The new owner has transformed this place, updating everything from the menu to the overall look and feel. Disregard any outdated reviews from the past; this restaurant is a 100% must-try! The empanadas de camarón make for a perfect appetizer, and the enchiladas verde de camarón are an absolute favorite. Don't miss out on their incredible micheladas and specialty drinks. You won't be disappointed!

The seafood used to be the best, I used to go with my family every time that we go visit. The quality of the food is low. I don't think we are going again. I don't mind paying a lot for food only if it's worth.

This place simply does seafood better. I had the 7 mares Caldo, wife had fish and shrimp ceviche and kid had a smothered burrito. Another family member had the steak and shrimp.. While everything was great, the Caldo and Ceviche were just outstanding. Waitress was so nice and the place is spotless.
