The staff was friendly and polite. Our server gave great recommendations on food choices. Our food was tasteful and delicious.

Sadly, Le French seems to have gone down hill. Some of the food was fine (Burrata salad, Bouillabaise,) , but service was stilted. The steak was ordered medium rare, but came out very rare. It was taken back to the kitchen and put back on the fire where we saw the chef prodding it with his bare hands. Additionally it feels like they are "nickle and diming" the menu, as the martinis had a base price of $24, then olives and vermouth were extra charges. The final straw was that we ordered the roast chicken breast to go for our daughter. There was an extra charge for a to-go order, and when we got home half the dish as described on the menu was missing. No mashed potatoes, etc... just a sad dried out chicken breast for $30. We called and the hostess said she couldn't do anything as there was not a manager on duty. I do not think we will be going back to Le French

We love the food at Le French and all enjoyed our meals. The server was very busy as it seemed a bit understaffed but he still did a good job of being attentive. We will be back!

What a great find! It's a really cool restaurant located in the newer DTC area and has a lot of natural light and well decorated. The service was incredible, and the food was amazing-all at a very reasonable price. I'm a huge French onion soup fan, and this is the best I've ever had. I will definitely be back!

Came for dinner on a Thursday night and the service, food, drinks and ambiance were just perfect. I hope the new pastry chef sticks around because the desserts were insane. Take your time here and really enjoy the food!

Chicken sandwich was not good. Fire alarm went off during lunch. Had to cut it short and leave.

Had meules, Brie/baobob, and the tuna empenadas. Everything was delicious- The tuna empanadas though were the best.

We celebrated at Le French DTC. It was the first night of a prix fixe dinner, and we partook. Our meals included onion soup, croquettes, bass, risotto, and tart tatin. All the food was nicely presented, well seasoned, and just the right amount. The Senegalese spices were a delicious add. The timing of the dishes allowed for a nice, leisurely dinner.

I was very excited to eat here, but the food was disappointing, and our server seemed annoyed and preoccupied. The salad was incredible. The cocktails were perfect and unique l. The duck was dangerously undercooked, and the steak frites were incredibly disappointing. I was surprised. I've eaten at restaurants all over the world and I'm usually quite easygoing. Bummer.

Burrata was delicious with fresh tomatoes and stone fruit. Ordered two steak and frites. One was perfect. The other was a bad piece of filet. It was chewy and a poor cut. After it was served, the waiter didn't come around to check on us for about 20 minutes. One person was finished eating before the waiter was flagged down to show him we weren't satisfied with one filet. He offered no options. We said we'd like a new steak. The manager came over. Offered us a glass of wine while we wait for a new steak. That took another 10 or so minutes. The new filet was perfectly done. When we got the bill, they charged us for everything including the wine. I thought it was very rude and poor customer care. Further, we had to ask for more water while we were there over 2 hours.

Another great experience at Le French. We’re big French food lovers and have come here often since they opened. The atmosphere takes me back to Europe instantly. The Yassa Chicken sandwich is fantastic. Love the steak frites and we ALWAYS get the espcargot. And where else in the Denver area are you going to get Baobab jam?! The cocktails and wine list are not to be missed. Service is always attentive and accommodating. We’ve never ever had a bad experience, and I rarely use those words. Definitely check it out. The Beef Bourguignon was definitely not really French Beef Bourgignon. The duck breast was Decent. We have had good meals here previously, but the Beef Bourguignon was definitely a let down.

Wonderful food, great service and contemporary decor. Not a stuffy restaurant but rather a place to enjoy food and good company
