Wonderful little neighborhood coffee shop. Had the Kiki breakfast sandwich recommended by our fabulous server Jessica. It was wonderful…as is Jessica. Highly recommend.
Great food options! The coffee/espresso and tea options are all delicious too. Super cute space with an excellent outdoor patio that includes a fireplace!

Lil Coffea’s Downing location is the perfect spot to feel comfy — whether you’re hanging out with friends or just enjoying some quiet time alone. The vibe is cozy, and the food takes it to another level.
I absolutely loved their Caprese Baguette Sandwich, Avocado Toast, and their fresh pressed juices OMG. The blends are so pure and refreshing! Honestly, I’ve never had a baguette sandwich this crispy, soft, and light on the stomach, while still being so flavorful — it truly touched my heart. The bread’s aroma with that butter.. SIGH! was incredible, adding to the whole experience.
Their menu is a creative fusion of fresh, innovative dishes made with the best ingredients, and you can taste the quality in every bite. On top of that, the staff are all warm, friendly, and helpful — which makes the whole experience even better.
✨ Highly recommend Lil Coffea’s — it’s a gem in Colorado that welcomes people from every ethnicity and nationality, with flavors to match all kinds of tastebuds. A perfect spot for comfort, creativity, and genuine hospitality.

This was the worst, milkiest latte I’ve ever had—the ratio was completely off. I used to be a barista, so while I’m picky, I’m not THAT hard to please. Unfortunately, this is the closest café to where I live, and I’m devastated because it has so much potential. If the staff followed consistent recipes and made drinks the same way, it could be a great spot. I am as caucasian as you can get and this latte is almost the same color as my skin. Glorified $5.50 cup of whole milk.

LITERALLY HAVE TO GO Jessica was the sweetest person ever and gave great service the second my friend and I walked in. She provided such great help and even helped with accommodating our drinks to make them the way that we would like it and enjoy it, even if it meant adjusting the original recipe. The pastries and food were also amazing and tasted so well and she did such an amazing and kind job bringing us our things and the service to help
Clean up was also fantastic!! The atmosphere is so fun yet so relaxing and it was great to see numerous people hanging out and talking or studying with their headphones or relaxing outside at the outdoor seating and just made the place overall so much greater of an experience. Definitely would recommend going and I will happily be going there so much more now AND SEE JESSICA SHE IS SO SO SWEET AND SO KIND AND AMAZING!! All the staff was great too!!!:)))

Typical small neighborhood coffee shop. Friendly staff and coffee was good. Did not try the pastries but line showed they had a strong following.

I come here regularly since they’re one of the few places open late in the neighborhood. It’s a pretty good place to hang out, work on homework, etc. Definitely a little weird. The people who work there have always been nice. I would not advise eating the food, though.
Not entirely sure of the whole story, but this place used to be a more straightforward cafe/coffee shop. Now they’re open 24 hours, have bottles of liquor on the wall, a hostess stand (which doesn’t appear to serve any actual purpose), a massive lottery ticket machine like the ones at the checkouts in King Soopers, and an obnoxious illuminated lottery sign next to the register. It’s like it’s slowly turning into a convenience store. Every time I go in I half expect them to have a new display case for cigs and vapes.
To he honest, I actually kind of dig it. I’m not sure what exactly they’re going for, but it’s certainly something different from your typical hipster coffee shop.
The food was a bad experience. It’s overpriced and frozen. Got a butter chicken bowl recently that cost almost $20. It was served in a plastic meal prep container with the lid still on - obviously pre-portioned, frozen, and microwaved before serving. But they whiffed on the microwave part, so it was still quite cold in the middle. Not great, man.

I am so glad that late night establishments are coming back. The atmosphere was very nice, and my jalapeno burger was great. The fries were also great. This may end up being a regular spot for a late night meal.

Second time visiting this place, super good bagel sandwiches, coffee/drink options are good. Always a recommendation to family and friends when they visit Denver.

Late-night coffee runs have become a highlight of my day thanks to this place. The night crew here is absolutely fantastic — friendly, efficient, and always welcoming no matter how late it is. Whether I’m grabbing a quick brown sugar spice & everything nice or settling in for a few hours of work, they consistently create a calm, cozy vibe that’s hard to find after dark.
They don’t just serve coffee — they serve comfort, conversation, and community. The drinks are always on point, the pastries are fresh, and they never miss a beat with service. Big thanks to the night team for making this my go-to late-night spot!

The barista was the least welcoming person. They don’t let you pour your own cream in your coffee, so when she asked what I wanted I said half and half and she poured heavy whipping cream.
The coffee tasted sour.
The price is pretty high for coffee that was very below average and terrible customer service. The atmosphere is cool but I wont be back.
