We had so much fun at our first time at Linger! What a fun and vibrant atmosphere! Our server was outstanding and the cocktails were creative and delicious as well. We will be back soon! We also really enjoyed reading about the history behind the mortuary building; how cool!
This was a special meal - a pairing with various bourbons. The food was delicious, imaginatively prepared and served. Service was excellent. And, the bourbons were great.
Absolutely DELICIOUS. The buns were incredible as was everything else we ordered but those were the stars
We historically love Linger, however, this time the food, timeliness and service were disappointing. Took a very long time to get the last plate of duck fried rice. Three of us would have been completely finished with our food by the time it arrived. We had to eat very slowly to not make our 4th guest feel bad. It took forever to get a 2nd glass of wine as well. My short rib with scallion pancake had too much 5-spice and just wasn't very good. After all the wait, she didn't care for the rice dish but we weren't about to take the chance to order something else. At checkout we thought that the server offered to take it off the bill but he said no he would have only taken it off the bill if we had ordered a replacement dish. Not cool. Plantain dessert was very tasty. Hope it was just an off night.
I was really looking forward to the death and drag brunch, however, the decision to have the speakers at an entirely unhealthy level was very upsetting. When we asked if the speakers could be turned down at all, we were informed that they were intentionally dialed in for the specifics of the drag show. It's upsetting that this extreme volume level was what was deemed appropriate for the event. I regret not just getting up and leaving because I'm still experiencing ringing in my ears and imbalance as a result of my speaker facing ear feeling off. Hoping my temporary hearing loss does not become permanent.
We ate on the roof - the food and atmosphere were absolutely fabulous. The food was unique and so tasty. The vibe was really fun and the servers were so kind. We tried the local NA beer there and it was one of the best we've had.
We chose Linger for our wedding anniversary, everything was outstanding from food to service to ambiance, thank you Lisa L. for taking care of us and to the whole staff for making our day even more amazing.
Went for brunch to celebrate a birthday. Server wanted nothing to do with us after we didn't order alcohol (although we did order coffee and lemonade). Her demeanor immediately changed once I said I was just having water. The food was good. Saw her pass our table 4 times after we were done eating and had to flag her down to get a box and the check. It was so disappointing after having an awesome dinner the previous weekend.
Linger delivers an exceptional dining experience. The food was absolutely amazing—creative, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The vibe of the place is excellent, with a lively, eclectic ambiance that adds to the overall enjoyment. While the noise level was manageable for most, it might be a bit much for those with hearing sensitivities. Still, it's a fantastic spot for a memorable meal.
I think I was expecting more impressive ambiance based on the Open Table description. There was really nothing special about it. I had asked for a table with a view and they did seat us upstairs, but the only view was of lower building rooftops which were ugly. I can't speak much to the food.. we just ordered a few bao buns and they were good. The Elderflower Spritzes were fabulous. I could sip on those all day! Our waitress was nice. Food and drinks came fairly quickly. She was a tad slow getting the check to us. Not sure if I would return. Plenty of other places to explore in downtown.

It was our first time dining at Linger and it was wonderful. Our waiter Zander was so nice and helpful. We would definitely recommend eating here again.
The menu has a great variety of cuisines, so there's something for everyone! Lots of gluten-free and vegan options, too. The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic and friendly.
Everything about this place is outstanding!! Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Denver.
Excellent experience with a beautiful view. Even the middle floor has nice view though I'm sure not as scenic as the roof. Our waiter was friendly and enthusiastic and made some great suggestions that left us having a wonderful exciting meal. The ambiance in Linger was upbeat and active but not so loud you can't hear your date
Great experience! Seated right away. Server was very good and attentive. Food was interesting and delicious as were the craft cocktails
