The food was wonderful. They have several vegan options and my daughter was thrilled. She is lucky to find one option at most restaurants, so she was delighted. She had the Ube Mocchi Pancakes with passion fruit coulis. The rest of us enjoyed the Pandan Waffle, Maine Lobster Roll, "Make your own breakfast", and the Chilaquiles Rojos. We all really enjoyed what we ordered. The restaurant used to house a mortuary so they play it up a bit with some macabre humor. they also have a rooftop dining and drinks. I would like to check that out next time.
Things started rough as we waited about 20 min for someone even acknowledged us at our table but they made up for it
We've been frequenting linger for 13+ years. Have been here countless times. Food was mediocre to sub average compared to regular. Vegan Caesar salad was not good, the vegan bow buns were significantly worse than typical, do not get the eggplant skewers. Atmosphere is always great. Price is always expensive. Not the best dining experience we've ever had, probably one of the worst
Took our family for my 16 year-old‘s birthday. Everyone was perfectly nice and they put in our dessert the candles that I brought with me. Yet the whole experience felt underwhelming. We were sat in a corner booth upstairs away from the fun and vibrancy of the first floor. The food was staid and salt was the main flavor. I haven't been in several years and it seems like the menu hasn't been updated much. The carrot cabbage slaw was on repeat in a couple dishes. The mochi dessert we ordered we overly gummy and lacking the pungent flavors I expected based on the description. Cocktails were well done and on par with the costs of drinks these days but the food prices seem high for small dishes that aren't as original as they were 10+ years ago.
Excellent! Great service and delicious food! We ordered 8 different plates for our group of 4 and it was just enough food, and everything we tried was absolutely amazing.
Love the decor haha!
Had my last dinner in town here with a close friend, and it was the perfect spot. The atmosphere was amazing…cozy and inviting…and the food was absolutely delicious. Such a great way to wrap up the trip.
Great vibes, friendly staff, and food is pretty good. We really enjoyed the New Saigon cocktail and Mortuary Margarita. Definitely recommend the hot honey sweet fries and the smashed wagyu sliders with bacon-onion jam, American cheese, pickles, and a special Sauce. The Korean fried chicken bao with kimchi, pickled fresno and Korean chili aioli was pretty good. I thought the Mongolian BBQ duck bao with koji pickled cucumber and scallion was a little too salty but still kinda yummy.
Now for my standard comments. This location is clean and well kept. Indoor and outdoor seatings are comfortable.
Not sure why this place gets great reviews. I have been here 3 times and the service is poor. I have tried several drinks, and different foods here. It’s not that good. I was there today, and the host just did not seem kind. Upstairs we checked out the rooftop. $16-17 for drinks and $10 for beer. On summer months, they have a shade but it’s not really shade. Super gross cocktails. The view is the best thing they got going on.
The whole evening felt smooth and pleasant.

Had a great time at Linger! A little loud and a little pricey but enjoyed the food. Bacon wrapped dates were incredible.
I’d choose this over any loud place.
I wish I remember our servers name. She was so amazing. A great sense of humor and not over watching but we were always in reach when we needed something. The food was so amazing. I was taking out my soninlaw for his birthday and we went with the servers recommendation on the sets of things we ordered.
Every time I go to Linger I’m underwhelmed by the food and overwhelmed by the price. I ordered the farro caesar salad with an addition of a chicken kabob. The kabob which was 2 chunks of chicken was $7.5 for an addition (picture attached). Just absolutely outrageous for such little food with a soggy terrible salad. If it wasn’t for this places cocktails I would never go back.
Excellent food and games to match .
