I had the spaghetti and meatball sandwich. Super overpriced and mid. It was really just a meat ball sandwich, for some reason they dropped some spaghetti where they cut the sandwich but it fell out as it wasn't ib the sandwich. The meatballs were solid but there wasn't much sauce so it was a little dry. Not the worst but you would be better off getting a sandwich at snarfs or cheba hut for the same price or cheaper

Super casual hole in the wall vibes with some decent sandwhiches. Good size, lots of food but super over priced. Spent about $45 on two sandwhiches.

If we’re comparing the price of this food to how it tastes, easily the worst cheesesteak I’ve ever had. There is absolutely nothing special about this place and the food, even if priced correctly is middle of the road at best. Give your hard earned money to a more deserving establishment. This place feels like a scam.

Carmine’s on Penn is a Denver landmark, sadly it’s lil brother, Little Carmines is not and never will be worthy of the name. Went in for lunch at 1 on a hot and very slow Saturday. No one, not even a worker was inside. A bored lady came out when she heard the bell. Ordered the Italian Beef. Specifically asked for peppers and jus on the side. Can’t get sweet peppers for some reason, which is odd for an $18 sandwich but ok. Got my to go bag and noticed there were no peppers on the side, or jus. Went back in and verified I was getting them on the side. She game me a very small jus and said the peppers were wrapped separately inside the sandwich wrap. Ok. Guess what was all over the sandwich. Yep, smothered in peppers. Not separate. $50 for 2 sandwiches, a drink and chips and the added in gratuity “so they don’t have to raise the prices on the menu” seems excessive especially when you don’t get what you specifically asked for, multiple times. The Chicken Parmesan was good though. Edit. I could not come back from home to get it made correctly and frankly after that experience, I don’t ever plan on entering that establishment again. I hope they actually refund me as promised.

Their “nj hoagie” is a subway tier sandwich charging levan deli prices. On top of that, a 10% kitchen/service fee for a sandwich that I got to-go. Wild.

The best little sandwich spot in the neighborhood. Go no further. Well worth it!

My favorite sandwich in Denver! Their bread is delicious & so glad they have the walk up in addition to the carmine’s restaurant.

Got the Jersey Hoagie to-go. Two sandwiches cost $42. The bread is delicious, don’t get me wrong. But this is not a $21 sandwich. Not a lot of meat and really it’s just a plain sandwich. The Snarfs Italian is better than this sandwich and half the price. The bread is what you’re paying for. But I probably won’t get a sandwich here again

Ordered a sandwich for $18 and chips for $3 - total came to $27 because there is a 22% required surcharge. I definitely can’t support that for literal counter service sandwiches, so I walked out without eating.

Haven’t eaten here yet, but please have longer hours! So excited to have a new sandwich shop but a 3 hour work window?! Come on.

This place lies about its food prices, I ordered a sandwich over the phone. The website price lists $18 before tax, but the actual price is $23. They claim it’s a service fee, but it’s mandatory. When the fee is mandatory it should be included in the price. They know no one would pay $23 for an average sandwich. Avoid this place until they actually advertise their true prices.

Good sandwich bad price! The restraunt charges a 22% what they call included service charge. There was no service. no meals, everything sold individually, overpriced and not worth

$27 for a sandwich and a side is absolutely insane. Decent sandwich but nowhere close to worth that amount

Eagerly awaiting lil carmines to re-open. The chicken salad sandwich is to die for! I see that the hang up is low staffing but I haven’t seen any signs for hiring. I’ve never worked in the biz before but would gladly work the cash register. Bring back the Sammies!

Please reopen soon! This neighborhood desperately needs a good sandwich shop!
