If you're looking for the best Peruvian food in Denver you've just found it. I always recommend this place as the best Peruvian food the Denver metro has to offer because I've never had a disappointing experience while dining here. They have it all, even Cusqueña and Inca Kola. My all-time favorite dish is the Lomo Saltado. It's marinated and cooked just right every time. They also don't skimp on the meat which is more than enough to keep me returning to Los Cabos with family and friends for over 2 decades now. This place is as authentic as home cooked gets.
Super attentive staff. Lots of tasty cocktail and juice options. I thought the fried corn appetizer was interesting. I had my eye on a lot of different entree options but eventually settled on the tallarín saltado — the sauce was so flavorful. My husband got the lomo saltado and loved it. Seems like a good spot to bring a group in downtown Denver near 16th street that isn't too busy.
The ceviche and the peppers n steak are great - order a cusquena beer with your meal it taste great - if u don't love u u bite
Loved the papa a la huancaina and some ceviche. Plus Togo was just as amazing. Thank you guys so much,
Tangy, spicy, perfectly cooked. My first time having Peruvian food and now I'm hooked.
The Pros:
- plates serve far more than a single meal, one entree will easily serve two adults
- flavor is fantastic, aji verde was perfection on the flank steak and the pesto was delightful
The Cons:
- prices have skyrocketed, for a tiny amount of meat and oversized portions of rice and fries the $20 charge is incredible
- three servers were playing hosts, bartenders, and wait-staff; by the time 6 tables had been filled they were completely swamped. the poor girls were working hard, but getting any service meant standing up and flagging someone down
- a 20% mandatory gratuity added on to the ticket for a table of 4 is really something else, especially since the service was non-existent.
The cost of dining compared to the quality of food and service is just too high to justify a return trip. Until they can address their prices and staff count find another place to eat.
My family is from Peru and we love to go to Los Cabos to eat all the delicious Peruvian dishes, so last Saturday my mom, son, niece , daughter in law and friends were there we had paella, ceviche, causa rellena with shrimp and with chicken, pollo a la brasa, maracuya sours and alfajores . The service was excellent the food was to die for. Highly recommend it. Can't wait go back ???????
Vegetarian options: Even though I am not vegetarian my niece is and i love the delicious dishes they have that are vegetarian. ?
Uuuff, the best place for Peruvian food in Colorado, you have to like the lomo saltado and the green noodles
Since Noel and his stuff quite, everything is bad ! As Peruvian I went to there yesterday to have a good time eating my Peruvian food, the flavor was horrible. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.
Food was ok, could have been better.
Could have been more authentic with ingredients and preparation of food and drinks. Understaffed. Bartender/waitress was overwhelmed with 4 tables. Kitchen staff don't need to come out of the kitchen and give dirty looks to the customers.
Should be better for the price.

Very good
Very good indeed.
I'm hispanic and really enjoy that there's a Peruvian restaurant in Denver with great quality. I recommend!
First experience was good. Nonetheless, The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced after coming for a second time. Chicken tasted reheated, tried ordering something that I previously ordered and apparently the owner denied it. Owner and employee had zero social skills and owner looks at customers with zero interaction. Couldn’t Expect more with the current ratings that they have. Last thing I know is that in this industry, you are there to serve your customers accordingly. You are there for the customers, not the other way around.
Los Cabo’s restaurant was absolutely awesome! Excellent service and the food was delicious. The ceviche and Lomo Saltado and chicha morada is to die for! Thank you Francesca for you wonderful attention and treating me so well I will be back!
