Had the Bang Bang Shrimp taco, Birria taco, and Pork taco, the food was amazing. The highlight was our server Oscar though… guy brought the vibes, made the perfect suggestions and kept our drinks full. The passionfruit chili marg is *chefs kiss*

Los Chingones was a great dinner spot for good Mexican food at a casual environment. I went with their popular 3 tacos for $15, and I was very satisfied. I would absolutely come back, and have another margarita!

Fun place, great food, music, and service. I recommend the grilled fish tacos, nopales, and Mexican Ramen.

We sat outside and it was delightful. Would be great with heat lamps ib the winter.

Here is why I’m giving this place a 2/5.

1. The menu is EXTREMELY limited. For entrees the only options provided are tacos or different types of salad. I’d recommend ordering an appetizer as your entree because appetizers are the only variety offered.

2. The cost of everything on the menu is pretty high considering the portions you get. I ordered the nachos off of the appetizer section which alone was roughly $16. To add carne asada (which is what I did) was a $6 addition. So my meal alone was $22 in which I got probably about a tablespoon of meat. Pretty sad for the pricing. Also note, chips and salsa are also a charge.

3. None of us got our food together. It was probably a total of 10mins before all 3 of us had our food and could begin eating because our dishes were served to us as they became ready rather than when all of our food was finished.

4. Our waitress was kind and checked on us often. She was the most positive part of our dining experience. Unfortunately, that isn’t enough to make me overlook the pricing and the fact none of us finished our meals because we were so disappointed. We also didn’t take any for leftovers. For a total of $90 for 3 people we could’ve gone elsewhere.

Oscar hooked us up with some great recommendations. The elote queso was wildly good and honestly the salsas were so impressive. Flavorful and complex. My favorite taco was the birria by far. A great spot for some strong tacos, margs and chips.

Great time at Los Chingones! The tacos were fantastic. My favorite was the duck confit. The salsas were also wonderful. The habanero was particularly great, with a nice heat but also sweet. The service was top notch. Oscar was full of great recommendations and super attentive. Made our experience even better. Will happily return and recommend!
